im really exited about my debut on sunday :) im really hoping all goes well :L mid table finish here i come ;)
 
Monaco no stranger to me,having raced it on all the F1 games thru the years.Doesnt make it easy though.I drove it like i stole it to get a 1:10.7 but thats not on for the race,too much tyre wear.Im sticking with -1/8 ride hieght,Have tried different set ups but too much oversteer,feels like the rear is out on the sea,rolling with the swell...

Ellis- It may be our busiest race yet, if everyone who is practising shows I am expecting 14 maybe 15 drivers, so at monaco thats going to be busy! Im sure your going to do well :)

PB- I have driven this track quite a lot but only in gt3 and 5 so you must know it a lot better than me. I have still got a little way to go on the tuning so we shall see....will this be PB's first win? Watch this space :)
 
Excuse me Berty, are you English or American? I must calculate the time zone... I'm GMT+1, so at what timedo I come in the room sunday?

Neth and Etid have pulled out so we are down to 13 max, still enough to make it a good one. Replays will be watched intently so everyone is to do their best to keep it clean. If the overtake is on then go for it but remember that the lead driver has the rights to the racing line, its the overtaking drivers responsibility to go round. On the same note the lead driver must keep a steady course while being overtaken. I have to mention this because its Monaco, tight and tough to pass. We have a good group of tried and tested fair racers here, I intend to keep it that way.

Let me have your opinions on the new tracklist please.
1. Rome, Autumn Ring, Daytona, Daytona road course, or High speed Ring? Pick two of the four
2. Should we bring the race length into line with F1 or keep it at an hour long?
3. Should we turn the last event of season into an endurance? If so how long?

Hey if you are still actively managing this thread, count me in. I am a clean racer, am usually on an hour or two a day, and I have a blue FGT. *If that matters :P *
 
1. Autumn Ring & Daytona Road Course.
2. Keep the normal race length to 1 hour, just maybe start qualifying a bit later.
3. Yes a 3 hour endurance would be quality.

PS. I will be making every Sunday Race after this weekend, just bad timing with holidays and family. :)

CarCzar- It does matter what colours, the season is well advanced but a space just became available. What colour FGT is in your online dealership? do you have a red car?

Autumn ring, I love the idea of an endurance race to end the season and i think you could vary the race lengths? like high speed ring for 2 hours would be mind numbing but on a track such as nurburg gp/f and monza would be brilliant if they were just slightly longer. And i have to say an official apology for that voice i did i dont know why but if it bovers you im in no position to keep doing it :)

Daytone road,highspeedring.enduros great but alot of thought has to go unto the ven.ue,twisty trak=hot steerin wheel
 
PB- 8th of September? If you lived on top of Ayers Rock maybe, is your service provider messing you about mate? That seems like a long time! Hope you manage to sort it before that bro, but if not I guess we will see you at the HSR :(

I would pick Daytona and HSR (Autumn Ring to twisty and Rome way to short).
HSR is short too but not so boring (HSR reverse would be my choice :D).
Daytona just for the fun even the "slowest" could win here.

I suck at Cote 1:14´s-1:15´s and the fastest was 1:13.5 (but never reached a 1:13 again -_- on hit wonder)
And I´m totally hating how I drive at Cote. Bumping the Barricades 3-4 times during one Lap -_-
I´ll race but my place is at the end.

I´ll skip Nordschleife (the Track is superb but not with a FGT !!!). With a LMP it´s ridiculous
=> with a FGT it is ...
=> If you want an Enduro on this Track at the end of the next season you can have it ;) (Double or Triple the points for that event)

Other wish: Bann SRF this is my only request.
(See the result of Indy-Road where I did a 1:09.815 ; and that is faster than the Actual Track-Record => there is no lack of DF or Grip)
 
Thanks Sakery, your votes have been added. Please dont miss Nordschleife mate, its hard for everyone and thats the idea. They used to race formula 1 here a long time ago and it will challenge car set up.
 
1. I would vote for daytona superspeedwy, and hsr.
I also think we should consider special stage route 5, would be great to have a night race, plus this track is so unused.

2. For race length, I say keep it the same.
Another idea that I have is to run a gp2 style twin race format, with the second race run in a reverse grid from the previous races finshing order. This race could be shorter and run at half points, and give a chance for someone else to win.

3. Endurance final is a great idea, maybe 2.5 hours
But let's do it on an easy track so everyone can keep up. It's not fun lapping people, and I'm sure it's not fun being lapped.

On a side issue, we're getting hit by a hurricane this weekend here in new York, so I hope I can make it but it's looking unlikely, they have already evacuated people near the coast, so I may have to leave Saturday night. I will try my best to make it though.
