Brilliant race today, it was a big shame about the disconnections but we soldiered on.
BIG congratulations to ronin, I just couldnt catch him towards the end of the race and he deserved the victory.
I had an amazing start and pulled a 15 second lead out in the first 4 laps, I pushed too hard and destroyed my tyres. Ronin was catching me fast and I just managed to make it to the pits before he overtook me. More of the same until the second pit and I never saw him again. No one else troubled me much and the track felt a bit empty aside from Ronin.
Lets hear all your comments on the race please.

Well I would have wanted to race today too but unfortunately my I-Net didn´t want me to :D

Pre Practice (2laps ;)) where fine and Qualy too (made a horrible mistake at the Last sector which didn´t let me do a 1:14.xxx) but after that my loading time tripled (you can see this if the "bar" under your name is "moving")
=>I thought a reset would be a help (because I didn´t want to lag)

But after that I always got disconected (I tried it 3 times and after that I gave up).
=> I couldn´t save the replay => hopefully there was no "rampage"-action just pure racing ;)

I could do high 1:14´s - low 1:15´s consistantly => where could I have finished ??
 
What a great race today between me and berty. I love how your consistent, you dont make many mistakes. Your super fast, especially when your chasing me:) I love how this race felt like a real monaco gp, pitstop strategys and careful passing. I admit it was a little lonley up front without pigboy and the ever elusive nethereal.

I'm excited about the next race, hopefully everyone will be at the next one. Also thanks for comparing me to alonso, big shoes to fill.
 
i hate my Wi-Fi connection!!!!! I was doing a very good race, 2nd after start... But there was someone kicked away me from the track and I became 5th... (veeeery angry >.< >.<) but I was happy 4 my race, 5th with standard setting was great! But my hated adsl kicked me off from lobby and goodbye race >.<
Danger: Nürb GP/F is my favourite track :)
 
Is there anyway I could compete at the Nurgburgring?
 
KS- I am really gutted you didnt get to race, it wasnt the best due to 2 people being on holiday, PigBoy lost internet like you and alex. Pagey is out now, he missed too many so ill open a slot up. Apart from that I had a good battle with the mercurial Ronin. Hope you can sort your connection out soon KS!

Ronin- I am glad you were racing or I might have got lonely :) you had a solid race and looked after your tyres amazingly well. Fair play, your definatley going to give me a lot more trouble in the future.

Skate- BL=Best lap, ill fill the details in after watching the replay. Nurburg should be a kick ass race but I have virtually no experience there so I may struggle.

Alex- Again it was a shame a lot of people had connection troubles, try restarting your hub an hour before the race. You did well today, I saw you were the victim of contact and also caused a contact too. Things are very tight on this track and I think it was accidental. Hope to see you next sunday :)

Tom- Possibly, is it just the one race you want to do? Or do you want to do the remaining?
 
I have to say i really enjoyed that race :) if connection hadnt been an issue it wouldv been better. But 5th out of a starting 10 im happy with that and look forward to the next race :) nurbo GP here we come :D hopefully my tires will last a little better this time round -.-
 
You will like the races better with more drivers. One day the conditions will be perfect- No hurricanes and no internet problems= 16 drivers :)
Practice run tomorrow to see what we are gonna need to do with the set up, oh and well done today ellis, not a bad debut :)
 
Dissapointed 6 people finished, But Happy with my finish, i hate using the fgt round there! Spun on first lap again! Last place then managed to end up with third, did a three stop pit strategy, was a lonely race for me in the end, best part was when rhy lapped me , so i could try to keep up. Had a big crash around lap 30 and lost atleast 15 seconds! Looking forward to GP , hopefully a full house this time!!
 
Glad you still enjoyed, Cote, Fuji (first race) and Sarth were kind of an anti-climax when you compare them to the othe races due to poor turnout. I still enjoyed them but it does take away some of the drama. Good solid finish for you though SM, you have an impressive haul of points for only 2 races. I am sure you can finish 4/5/6th this season depending on finishes and next season you will be a serious contender.
 
have you had opportunity to look into that thing i asked you too? :)
 
Ok Tom, I am waiting for a confirmation on the last remaining place at ferrari, if its negative you can have the slot. If not I will keep you as a reserve and I can practically guarantee a space at Nurburg GP/F anyway. Keep your eye on the roster, ok

IMPORTANT- I have changed 1 circuit on calender in OP, if anybody objects to this PM me and ill change it back, a lot of people requested this so I have had to listen :)
 
Hey love to take the spot at ferrari

im american and my FGT colors are red(perfect for ferrari)

i cant join the nurbgring race because im going to go watch an indycar race that afternoon in baltimore

however im good to finish out the rest of the series
 
Well we dont often get that lucky with the colour cccobx (gotta call you something, else cant say it).
Your in mate, Ill get you on the roster when the chief designer can do it.
Familiarise yourself with the first post (rules and regs) and add me on PSN so you can practice with us.
 
Tom that was the last spot gone but still join us as I always have at least 5 people doing real world things on any given sunday. You willl get to race.
 
Truth be told im glad to see HSR gone.Not a fan of that track at all. good choice with suzuka. changing weather conditions?

No, that was if cccobx replied in the negative. I had been in contact with him by PM before you asked so had to give him time to reply. Ill get you in dont worry.

congrats to Ronin, winning @ monaco is always enthralling
ill be back from vacation next week, so hopefully will be able to get some points back on the board!
 
SM- Not sure but will probably be mid afternoon. I need a few changes to roster if you can ill send a PM.

Neth- We are starting to get pissed at you dude! Never mind vacations and all this so called enjoying yourself. I have 3 fast new racers that are starting to think you are a myth and you never actually existed!!!

Yes i haven met this so called "nethereal" , is he real?

Some say that the outline of his left nipple is shaped as the nurburgring. 👍
