Yeah, that time was set online in my lobby. I think it was about 1.26.7, but only a few times, rest were 1.27's. I still need to tune for the nurb, I was using the manaco setup. I feel like maybe 1.25's are possible, but it would have to be perfect, Ayrton Senna perfect.

Yes tom grab it! Try and end up with 3 eligible cars if you can so I can try and give everyone the teams they want or 2nd choice at least.
Just so you know I will record the points you aquire as a freelance driver on the OP and if you get allocated a team before the end of the season I can apply all points to that team ok.

Good practice tonight, Sandman is flying out there (as is Ronin and no doubt nethereal will be) Going to be tight up front, some of the middle runners are pushing too. It will once again be down to who makes the mistakes and who keeps cool. Should be an awesome race on sunday!

well I am glad the Le mans 24hr race is over but I have got to do the last one which is the n'urberg 24hr..I shall do that one next week....and last night was the worst night for disconnection
... I only hope that doesn't happen to us again it really spoils the races.. (now you see me now you don't) paul &trish

Your more dedicated than me, I cant imagine doing those races. At least Trish can provide moral support (and cups of tea). Connection issues are really worrying so I offer this advice to people.
1.Quit the game and shut down PS3 2 hours before race.
2. Reset your router.
3. When router is ready, start PS3.
4. Run the game and in the network options select 'clear cache'.
5. You should have Nat 2 connection.
6. Join the racing room and win race!
Simples

Yeah this is the "basic"-routine but it´s a roulette-game if this method works (sometimes my router isn´t obedient xD
Well Sunday I´ll get online a bit earlier to get my router and PS3 prepared and warmed up, maybe that will work better
I tested yesterday 20 Laps on my own and a small 5 Lap Race with Etid and Sandman.
1:29.110 was my peak Lap but there is some time to scrap off.
Everytime I´m on my way to a 1:28 I spin at the Schumi-S. I was 1second faster than my 1:29.110 before the Schumi-S but I spun -_-
Maybe I need a bit more testing. But I heard that some people took alien drugs to sharpen their responsiveness and achieve inhuman times xD

I am hoping you get a race this week KS. 1.29 is a very good time indeed, we are all getting the same thing, faster in the first sectors but losing it all at schuey or at the chicane. I have seen a 1.27.xxx but the majority of laps are 1.30-1.32's. If you can keep that pace going and dont spin too much you will get a good finish. Nurburg gp looks like it will be a very close race with the podium very difficult to call, Runfast is doing excactly that, Ronin, Sandman, Ellis and me are shifting too.
I have 16 confirmations for the race up to this point, normally it is 12 by this time so we should be looking at 14 competitors maybe 15. Should be good

I´m doing my best to be connected at Sunday.
1:30´s are no problem and with rundown Tires 1:31´s (low-high) are "easy" to achieve for me. Only the Schumacher-S is my Nemesis sector.
3 spins at that Sector while Testing (20 Laps) => I must get comfortable with that Sector.

16 Confirmations! I'm really looking forward to racing this Sunday I just hope everyone remembers to reset there PS3's and routers before racing that way connection will be clean and lagg free.
One question. How do you clear your 'cache'?
My best lap is a 1:28.8xx but average a 1:30. Should be exciting to see who comes out in the top 5! Things are so tight atm! Can't wait.

From your GT page (Main page) click on the little gear wheel in the lower left of your screen. Click options, scroll down to network and click on it then click the reset cache button. Purpose is to clear out the buffer that stores up during online activities to make for a smoother experience the next time you are online.
Might take a while if you have never done it before.
On the race, I am also looking forward to seeing the mid finishers fight. Some great battles to be had. Flood vs Electric, Runfast vs Sakery. Ellis vs Etid vs sandman vs neth vs me vs ronin. There are 2 brand new rookies too! They could do a lewis hamilton on us and blow us all away Its going to be a fight, maybe the best race yet!

No probs tom, if you look at the race results since the beginning of the season, you would have had a race every week so its fair to assume this trend will continue. Next season will be epic if most people stay on, everyone starting with a clean sheet and lack of TCS will make the competition really hot up.

I made the FGTC as my first post on this site and wanted to include everybody so I made it so people could at least drive around without crashing
Despite this, talent shines through and 90% of our drivers use TCS 1 or 0. Dont get hung up on the driving aids, the best will still win!
Next season will be harder with less assists and more experienced drivers, also penalties may be off too (after vote) so your every move will be scrutinised after the race meaning more punishments. More tracks take it to 15 sundays and the last race of the season will be an endurance race on Nurburg 24hr.
