Lol, all that downforce then virtually none :) there will be turf everywhere. I might trade the rugby game in for F1 2011 or unchartered 3. Not sure yet.
Ill message you when I get done with the enduro and basketball. Probably about 9 ish.

Aha, I might but I definatley want GT5 as my main game for season 2 of the FGTC. If the season goes well to carry on. I have heard that playing F2010 online is a total bummer with kids crashing into you and knocking your wheels off etc. Ill let you know if I pick it up, it does look good though. DRS and KERS would be so sweet.

Great race for me, I really didn't think I had a chance at this one. Unfortunatly I was alone most of the race:( I really only pushed for the first 6 laps then I was just cruising. It seems people dont enjoy racing me because they seem to make big mistakes while racing me for some reason, yet on the replay everyone was racing eveeryone. While watching the replay I was amazed at all the exellent racing going on. As far as pit strategy goes, I had no idea before the race started, so I just waited till the fuel got low. I was pleasantly suprised when it looked like i could pit only once and make it, lucky for me this time:) everyone seems to have had fun which is why we do this, right.
 
SM- Internet was off in my area last night mate so no practice, I have had permission from the highest level to practice tonight but I am working till about midnight grr. Has your last post been removed, its just a blank box, not that funny at the moment :)

Ellis- True love is the most beautiful thing in the world, I am happy for you both!

Ronin- Dammit, just needed that draft. I had a fun race and your right of course that is what its all about. However you are now banned for being too fast (jokes). I will have to change your driving style to someone else if you keep this up!
 
stratejy is good but things have to go right.My stratejy at cape ring was to fill up petrol on the first stop then 12 second stop for the last pit stop.i was hoping other drivers would expect me to do a 40-50 second stop.Would've worked too i think but too many off's..6:21@nur24,hope me connection is proper friday.i find it very helpfull driving the track backwards and viewing corners i have trouble with,only by myself ofcourse.Some parts of the track are downhill and dont appear so when going the right way.ive got the time to do this,not everybody has....chow
 
It is such a huge course to learn if you have limited experience on it. I played gt4 mainly against my friends in 2 player mode and do not know the green hell. I had a go offline and as you go round you learn the track in sections, where you can push and where you cant. I have found out many places where I used to brake you dont need to even lift off. Obviously online has different physics so hoping to get some proper practice in soon, are you all set to compete for the last race PB?

Well I can release 8 cars on the same lap with 45 seconds between each release with 1 flying lap only then the remaining can go in the second session. Ill release the cars in the first session and Neth or Sandman can release in 2nd in which ill be driving. Will that work ok?
Neth, is there any cheat points on NB24hr? Where drivers will gain time from cutting?

plenty, thats why making a couple heats of 1 lap sprints might make sense... with penalties on heavy to ensure no advantage gains
 
So is that starting a race with 1 lap and 8 cars and using the finish times as quali times? (penalties on heavy). Then repeat for the remaining.

yup, that should make things nice and simple and still keep the qualifications/organisation of it/gridding under 30-35 mins
 
What about contact complaints etc.
I guess we have a choice of doing it that way or qualifying as normal with people watching for cheaters? Would that work do you think?
Going for a practice now if anyones about :)

On a side note, I just got my new wheel yesterday:). It is quite a thing to behold, but I'm having a hard time with it now. The pedals are metal and the brake pedal vibrates when u push it hard, cool but weird. The wheel also has a small vibration that matches the engine revs, that's really cool:). I'm sure y'all will be happy to hear that I'm quite a bit slower with it at the moment. This wheel has so many tuning options that it might take me a week to find my preference, but oh well, labor of love I guess.
 
After this last race is there a break until next season and if so how long? :)
 
Ronin- Your new wheel sounds pretty cool mate, I am sure you will be used to it by sunday so I wont get any ideas above my station sir :)

Ellis- No break before next season, it just keeps on rolling. I will get all the rules and regs laid out a few days after the last race and ask people consider if they want to carry on then to re apply if they do. After thursday any vacant spots will be offered to the public via GTP.

Runfast- Average lap times for 1st and 2nd in our short practice race today were 6.30.xxx so your along the right lines, ignore the times I posted earlier as this was NB type V which is shorter. Aim for 6.20-6.40 and your roughly on the pace. Its going to be a gruelling race taking up to 2 hours to complete.

SM- That guy is scary man, but to be honest I think a bullet for both of them would be the kindest thing.

It's my girlfriends birthday, pretty self explanatory ha
I'm not going to know for definite until Sunday itself, but I will let you know as soon as I find out
 
Hey pagey, of course if you cant make it thats no problem mate. Let me know Sat at the latest if you can. If I get 17 confirmed it will matter, Pigboy will hopefully be back so we should be full.
 
Yes it was ok thanks mate, good excuse to grab a maccy d's and chill with my book. Coach was 'driveable' 'driveable' and there was no need for a 'safety car 'safety car' at any point in the journey. I am laughing out loud right now :)

Edit, I felt just like Jensen Booton while drafting all the other coaches too!
