Nice one SM cheers for that. I am probably going to keep this thread going but I will be deleting the OP and have a new intro, calender, rules etc. already written. Ill keep the lap records, profiles and rankings going in a season 1 section.
If you can mail me the roster as discussed and do an intro graphic and calender too, ill pm you with calender dates etc.
Shall I name each event like.
USA GP...................Indy Road................4/11/11
Japan GP................Suzuka....................11/11/11

or is that lame?

SM- Oh, thats not a problem, I have an idea where the GT5 tracks are anyway. Cool graphic mate, not sure whats going on with Jensen though.
I will send you the track list now and the roster will be sorted last.
Its top secret though mate! Calender sent mate.

Runfast- Cheers mate, ill add the details to the temporary roster.

Hey Rebel Soul, Yes you can but it will depend on the turnout as to whether you get on track. If thats ok with you then ill put you on as a reserve.
 
Join us at 615pm GMT for free practice or qualifying starts at 645pm. There should be space for you, I will pm you if you have to leave but hopefully that wont happen.
Season 2 is just around the corner so if you like it you can sign up after the race.

not really sure whats up the jensen post(fetish much) but i dont think i can make every race next season

so if there is room put me down for the reserves :(
 
cccobx- Ok ill put you on reserve, you dont have to make every race as a regular, just 90% ish. You sure you want to go as a reserve?

Did a first Test for the 24h Nürb Track.
First I used the Monza setting (good for last Straight => Tranny is ok) but it is a mess for me.
=> Raised, softened the Suspension
=> almost drivable

Still it´s very tricky do drive a full lap clean.
Best Time so far: 6:46.692 (I spun on that Lap => 5secondy of if I don´t spin)
Pretty ok for the first Testing-Session I think. I don´t know if I can test more
=> maybe I´ll have to fully concentrate on Race-Day (the one without mistakes will certainly be in podium closeness)

For Season 2:
Runfast was/is a superb Team-mate
=> I would like to Team with him again. But he hasn´t my colour and vice versa.

Dont think youll be able to team with him then, im quite sure the colour management will be strict this year
But good lap!
havent had much time to practice myself - only really starting to practice this evening/tomorrow - had an incredibly long week with long evenings as i've been car shopping with the mrs.

cccobx1- Ok mate, reserve it is. 2nd in line. Are you at school? or a teacher?

Neth- Wow man you must have to be an intellectual to listen to that stuff, I prefer a bit of Metallica or GnR :)

KS- I changed a bit more than you but definatley raise the height. Unless you can grab a same colour car you will have to have a new team mate. As Neth pointed out everyone MUST use the same colours in S2 or be disqualified. Your lap is deccent I am guessing 6.20-6.40 is a good time here, it will be down to who can keep it on the track for the top 5 spots.

RS- We are all pretty good in the FGT but still lots of spins happen, this car is a beast to tame (especially on NB24hr) and thats why its my fave online racing car in GT5. Although in the looks dept. the Vettes and Ferraris take some beating.

Hi guys and Brett.....
Have thought:idea: about it and have decided not to do season 2 because I have realized there must be better YOUNG drivers out there who can have a chance with the races ( much quicker drivers aswell) We shall still be on each night and chat and do friendly races ... but honestly to give young and up and coming drivers a chance to get on . I have enjoyed competing with you all but it is too much for an old man.so good luck all of you for season 2.....:gtpflag::cheers: paul and trish
 
Electric- :( Gutted you wont be there mate but understand the reasons and its been fun racing with you. Hopefully see you about for some mixed racing on a wednesday sometime. If you change your mind and there is a space, just let me know and your back in :)
 
This is a grave day for all of us :( a cloud has been cast over the championship with the loss of electric, lets hope he doesn't do a DC and crash on his last race on the first lap.
 
Yeh he had a special charity car if i remember correctly because it was white and he crashed at the start, i'l try find a link to a video :)
