The qualifying takes place in just under an hour hopefully if things all go to plan, so this should be quite interesting. I have no idea what the weather is currently like in Brno at this current moment in time, as that could depend on who's quickest. In the wet practise yesterday the Marc VDS Ford GT was fastest but only just being followed by the Mad Croc Racing Corvette literally mili-seconds behind it.

One thing to point out for this round the Matech Ford GT (23 car) is back, that's the one with both female drivers if you can't remember, obviously Gachang isn't back but they have a replacement driver for the time being. They aren't overly quick so far (as seen from wet practise) setting the slowest time of practise but they probably need a chance just to get into the groove of things. On the other hand the Phoenix Racing Corvette (No.14 I think) which burned at Silverstone is not at Brno, but that could have easily been predicted taking into the account that they are not competing at Le Mans due to the fact the car won't be built in time.

Anyway, hopefully we'll get some action packed racing. I'm actually kind of hoping it might rain at Brno, the past two races have been pretty much dry (ok so Silverstone was damp but it wasn't actually raining during the race itself only in warmup on the Sunday), it'd be interesting to see how the cars cope with rain in a race situation.

GT3 qualifying has already happened. The track is basically dry but with some damp patches. The sun came out towards the end.

Ah I missed GT3 but I'm more following the GT1 at the moment anyway. GT1 qualifying is about to start. 👍

GT3 race is on now. They've started under the safety car because of rain.

I've known I had Bloomberg on cable for awhile but figured it was the same setup as BBC America where it's really nothing like the actual BBC. So it was a surprise while channel surfing I saw FIA GT Championship.👍

Live Quali race programme starting on EPSN now.

If you've missed the first GT3 round at Silverstone you can watch it on the official website.

Well this is annoying, the qualifying race is probably about 10 minutes away but Bloomberg shows no sign of actually broadcasting this race despite showing the qualifying session this morning. Even though on the website it says the race will be being shown live on the channel (FIA GT1's website).

Good Morning race fans GT3 race about to start http://gt3europe.com/

Good race yesterday with the Corvette's finishing 1st,2nd and 3rd, can they do it again

Woah, rough night. I think I'm going to let the GT3 race pass and wait for the GT1 race. I'm totally beaten up after Laguna Seca

I'll be happy if this race is a tenth of Laguna Seca 👍

edit. A big accident, and then you lose your gloves

edit. The #2 Aston is on a mission. Maybe not

Morning! Thankfully the GT3 race is on TV here for me, so I'm alright this time...no having to deal with poor internet connections now!

Looks like a great mix of cars, some good racing too, great to see those Aston DBRS9s battling...and its Corvette v Ferrari up front...2/4s of the ALMS battle last night I suppose! 👍

Wow Ferrari have thrown it away, two pit lane violations, from 1st to last

How frustrating must it BE for drivers to have screwups on pitroad?! I chuckle now when I remember what the RLM guys said last night...

"...we can't actually broadcast O'Connell's radio transmission...lets just say, hes absolutely livid."

Good racing though, that Lambo looks really nice. 6 mins to go, all to play for...

ESPN aren't showing the championship race live (the DTM is on) so I'll watch it later, I'm to busy watching the WTCC @ Monza.

What time is the GT1 race kicking off? I like how they have live streaming on their website of the races and such.

The GT3 race was great fun, good battling even down to the end, shame the battle for the victory couldn't have been a little closer but then again, I bet the Ferrari team were wishing that were the case too :indiff: still, congrats to the 'Vettes! I await the GT1 race with interest :)

Yup, although broadcasting starts at 1:00pm on Bloomberg. Which is what I'll be watching it on. 👍

Formation lap is currently in progress, hopefully we won't have any first corner madness. Also hoping that the Aston can pip the Maserati on the first corner. Hopefully.

EDIT: That was a dreadful start for the Thomas Enge.

I bet they don't let him take the start at LeMans.

Haha yeah. Apparently it might be something to do with the lights? But even still everyone else pulled away as if there wasn't an issue. :indiff:

I thought my internet curse here had struck again, but I'm on now and okay, after being delayed by sanding down a garage door for painting...

...I chose a good time to come in! Maserati and GT off, Leinders furious, and Lambo off as well...great commentary too! Who's the commentators for this?

EDIT: Leinders' reaction was top class, and sort of said what we were all thinking I think...

Fight fight fight

 He was not a happy bunny.

EDIT: I think the one of them is Alexandre Premat from A1GP, atleast he was commentating yesterday I think.

Nope, not at all, and understandably so - that was a pretty silly move from the Maserati fella. Bit videogame - you could get away with that on GT4, but not here :dunce:

Ah, thanks for the heads up :)

No fight.:grumpy:

I guess British people really are that polite.

Safety Car is out.

Haha! Well, it appears the the Belgians are polite up to a point...he just stuck to shouting some stuff at him on the track and ranting about him to the interviewer. I loved his interview, no holding back.

This is a pretty spectacular race yknow, this might be a bit of a silly question but how many of these teams will be at Le Mans, if any?

EDIT: Also, any idea who builds the Nissan engines? They sound gorgeous!
