For a while I have been hoping to be able to hold an endurance event at Spa. I have finally been able to get the dlc and I now have the Spa Francorchamps circuit. I have seen other events similar to this and I have decided to hold one myself.

Weather Changeability- 10

EVENT SETTINGS:
30 laps + 1 warm up
No penalty
Race Finish Delay: 180 seconds
Visible Damage: On
Mechanical Damage: Light
Slipstream Strength: Weak
Grip Reduction: Real
Tyre/Fuel Depletion: Normal

REGULATION SETTINGS:
Tyres: Medium, Hard, Intermediate, Wet
Assists: None permitted other than ABS set to 1

CARS

These cars are all racing cars which some of have participated in the FIA GT Championship. There are not to be two people using the same car. If you would like to have another car available for use message me and I will consider it. All cars must be race cars.

QUALIFYING

Qualifying will work as follows. There will be a ten lap race with random weather conditions. Within the ten laps all drivers must attempt to do as fast a lap as they possibly can. Only a drivers fastest lap will be counted towards the grid position. The finishing position in the qualifying race has NO EFFECT on the grid position. If there are any incidents during qualifying they will be reviewed and may possibly be penalized with a grid position drop. Depending on the severity of the incident there may be a greater or lesser penalty.

RACE

The race will be 30 laps. There will be one warm up lap at 50 km/h or 30 mph. All drivers must immediately organize themselves into the position they qualified in. The formation lap will be in double file. Each driver will start racing when they cross the start/finish line. All drivers are required to make one pits top. If this requirement is not met it will result in disqualification. Any incidents during the race will be review and if needed will be penalized with a time penalty. Depending on the severity of the incident there will be a greater of lesser penalty.

If the race is successful I may hold more events at different circuits.

Also, I reccomend you to increase the Lap number, because I just raced a 45 lap race in a league I participate in slower cars (Stock Lexus IS-F RM), the race lasted almost 2 hours, I don't know if you want to make the race that long.

Depending on the date of the race and race time (I reccomend you to use this so everyone can see when the race is going to be), I could give it a shot with the McLaren F1 GTR

I was just thinking about just doing a one hour race like the real GT1. For the date I am hoping to do it in the next few weeks depending on how quickly people sign up.

If date and time is good for me, I take the Panoz for the event.
 
the Panoz is already claimed mate, I don't know if he is allowing duplicates of car's, but its a beast,

For the date i was thinking the 19th or the 26th of January depending on how quickly people join

Depending on what time GMT wise your planning on doing this event on either date depends on if I can make it, as on the 19th at 1:30PM GMT time I have the champion's/ tribute series, (which makes around midnight Saturday/Sunday for us South Ausgreatian's,
 
Hey sign me up I'm still deciding which car to use ill tell you once I go on gt5 later on and I need to buy the track but for what DLC does it come with.
 
Actually sign me up for the the Jaguar XJ220 also sorry about the double post my phone is being weird and not letting me edit my first post

I don't believe it comes in the Track pack, I think its a stand alone DLC pack, but don't hold me to it,
 
the panoz is now available so I have given gtpanoz the panoz which I think he will be happy about
 
I'll take the Gillet Vertigo Race Car '04.
My friend "Schneggy91" is going to take the Pagani Zonda LM Race Car '01.

This event should be good to race in with the different cars being used. Any other cars you may add to go along the current list have been considered?

I may possibly add the Audi R8 LMS (team playstation)
 
you had a good benchmark lap time up, I could beat it to sector 3, but you must have got through the final chicane like a boss! I would lose almost a second if I didn't get it almost right, my best lap was .009 off your's in the nissan, and .130 in the Panoz, great spec's mate,

I may have cut the chicane but I can't remember if I did for sure but the Merc is very fast through the high speed bends
 
can't remember exactly, I think it was a 2.14.8XX I'm sure a few people will go faster but for me its about being the Adelaide king in Belgium, :lol:
 
i hope we'll get some more competitors for the race. it would be a shame if not because F1 has done a great job with balancing.
