You tried online setups mate?
 
Hope you don't mind but I've done a few tests at fuji with following cars on Race Hards. I used supercharger/turbo where possible but reduced to 591bhp. Please take into account I only spent 15mins on each car and did a quick basic tune

Xj220 1:36.6
Citroen race car 1:36.4
Nissan Z race car. 1:36.2
Ford GT spec ll race car. 1:36.0
Ford GT Test car 1:35.2

They all seem fairly well matched to me apart from GT test car. I only did a couple of laps and managed low 35's in it. feels very quick! The Nissan is the easiest to drive out the ones I tested where as the GT spec ll may be quicker but a lot harder to drive.

Will do some more testing on the other cars if I can get hold of them.
 
Hancock - Yup i know the Ford test car is quick but eats its tyres! Its also hard to control too, like you said.
Nissan is good but someone *cough*stig17*cough* thinks its rubbish

They are pretty even mate, only the ford is quicker but not good at race distances
 
I have to race your race on Sunday, and a Blancpain GT race for 2 hours on Saturday!!! A lot of testing is ahead!

2 hour race?! I can never race that long on a racing game, i would just fall asleep :dunce:

It's rubbish on straights :P class!! Sure Im doing a 24hr race on rFactor around Nordschleife in GT2s
 
Yes! I was too. I probably will do the next 12, 10, 8, 6, pr 24 hour race with him. If he gets rF2 :sly:

:crazy: I was thinking about getting rFactor, just for the GP2 & GT Race Cars mod - they look amazing!
 
Yep 24 hours straight! It'll be against some of best sim racers in the world! Wait for rF2 to be finished. That's what I'm doing . No point of having a unfinished version really

Whens the release date? Ive seen rFactor for £10 some places, so might buy it for the time being.....
 
I will use the Merc clk race car. It says CLK-LM on mine not GTR but I assume it's the right one?

Don't know how good the Merc is on tyres, how many laps is everyone getting out of softs?

Tyres arent good for me, 4 laps for racing softs and the ford looks like its really going to struggle

Yeah that's the one, it says it's a GTR in description but the car is called CLK-LM RACE CAR '98

Was going to take the ford test car but I know after 4 laps I would bin it. Nearly broke into 1:30's on softs though!

Yes but in the ford you would have to do 4 stops then!

Thinking about it for next sesson, but at the moment no. I will think of others to add to GT2, make there be 4 cars per league 👍 or something like that
 
Anyone got any basic setup advice that they are willing to share? I've been tinkering but I can't find any pace around fuji, I'm stuck in the 1.35s and 36s.
