With the FGT series unofficially testing at Cote d'Azzure, I thought I'd continue the Monaco crazy trend here at GTP. Take out one of the cars outlined in either of the FIA GT3 posts and try to put in your fast lap. See how quick, close, and fun these cars actually are!

Track: Cote d'Azzure

Car: GT4 FIA GT3 Homologation

Objective: Find the right set-up and put in your fastest lap!

This thread will close when Round 1 of the FIA GT3 Championship gets underway!

The track is now clear and we're ready to get these GT machines out there. Unification is still a great possibility, and the pre-season testing thread opening up again should NOT be taken as a sign talks are off, they're on:sly:.

Here is my first attempt at this

1'26.869 - Pagani Zonda C12

This car rocks :)

Edit:
Early time: 1'30.463
With a more tuned set-up , I know I can get a 1'28.5xx or lower.
 
i did a 1.38 in a ruf r-gt cup spec car
and i did some unofficial testing at the le mans circuit in the ruf r-gt gt3 spec
i did a 4.00.6 but i blame the twitchyness of the porsche under brakes
 
I'll investigate into what is going on with the Ruf.

T2-1'06.000
T3-1'29.115

Still trying to exact my suspension...
 
Excellent work guys. I'm still trying to figure out how to create a leaderboard. If anyone can help out in that area, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Just ran a 1'29.989 with the Ruf. I can get a bit better but I'm pretty sure I won't get down to 1'25 like east and his Zonda.
 
I think east has just found the money set-up. Following his 1'25 and wasace96's 1'38 I should do some testing. My results came in between each driver with their cars. Consistantly drove 1'29-1'30 with the Porsche and 1'28-high 1'29 with the Zonda.

Yeah I guess that sounds about right. I'm in the 1'29 and 1'30 range most of the time. That's a crazy time east...very nice.

Here ya go. Some decent splits:

T1-0'24.964
T2-1'05.845
T3-1'28.838
I don't think there is more than a second out of this car.
(But what do I know. I'm Div3!)
 
Looks pretty good to me fili, keep those times coming in. I think I'll put up a baisic looking leader board tonight. Still trying to find an easy way to make a good looking leaderboard, but I don't have the Microsoft Office package, and therefore no excel, on my computer. I'll see if I can use my Mom's or my Dad's, cause I know each of them have excel.

Got me a 1'27.434! Yes! My average is down to 1'28.500 now. awesome awesome car to drive.

you can add my 'second' best time for Cote d'azure: 1'28,116 if you want.

Nice setup mate. If i may add a comment, the leaderboard seems a bit cramped. Perharps adding a little space in between sections would let it breath a little.

Thanks, I kinda rushed on that one. Now I can start perfecting it for the season. I've decided all postings for sessions (qualis or races) will be made on that site.

I don't think that I can get a better time for that right now so I guess that it.
 
Also PiedGros, another suggestion would be to add a link to the leaderboard in your Avatar/signature... easy clicky ;)
 
btw, will we need to post lap times on here or send them private? ( i kinda like posting them here if its necessary). I have no problem with that, but its gonna be TV pictures from camera. Hope that's alright.
 
If you can provide replay proof or photo proof of times in any session that's great. By no means however, is it necessary. I would like you to PM me qualifying times and race times. However, you will be able to discuss T times in the qualifying thread if you feel you'd like to.
