If you read gear ratios in tune up page then that will tell you how to stop that problem, I use the speed test to compare 0 to 60 times with different setups which will enable you to get the best out of your motor. The 2 cv is quite simple to tune on gears but fiat does take some getting used to.

I'm sorry Dolphin I'm normally very reliable, but unfortunately my missus wouldn't turn off her silly program. I've now added you so that's a start. One thing I have done is add to the tuning page, see if it helps you at all.

Cox have updated tuning page, see if its ok when you get a sec. Also am I ok to alter my car colours as I fancy updating it. Obviously in the championship I won't change again.

Yeah just had a quick look, have not fully read everything though. Yes you an change your colours just post them on here.also Tacom08 will be signing up, both cars will be green with orange wheels:).
 
Dolphin, some tips after watching replays. In the 2CV you used comfort mediums not Sport Softs, this caused you to understeer and have less grip. Try Sports Soft and softening your spring rates. You were also breaking wrong for corners, try breaking earlier, though we will race with the driving line on

With your 500 f, first of all at the start keep revs high keep R2 pressed down, you will have more revs and a better start. When changing gears check the gear indicator before corners this should help allot as you were shifting too late. also you might want to soften springs as it looked like you were understeering at times. You may also want to stiffen roll bars to reduce the oversteer when cornering fast. Oh and try using sports soft this will improve traction and grip.

Try completing the low PP seasonal races, they can be completed in these cars if they are tuned and driven well. Happy tuning :sly:.
 
Dolphin, cox is right I've also checked out a replay offline quickly and noticed your loosing to much speed where it matters. If you go to the bottom of the tuning page I've put a bit on there about driving styles and how you enter and exit the corners. This is purely to help you. One thing that is well worth doing is do about 30 to 40 laps with a kart on tsusuka circuit. Sounds long winded but it will get you cornering really smoothly, this is basically what I did and it works a treat. I even got to a point where I could easily drift the karts through the bends which sometimes can make you even quicker if you get it right.

I have put sport soft tyers on the cars and i have sorted the camber angle and that im doing the low pp races just now.
I have looked at the picture at the bottom of the tuning set up page and its really helped thanks:)

What are the numbers like cox, are there more than on the front page. When you fancy starting the series. Also I might at some point to a tuning session as I reckon there's a bit of fine adjustment to come out of the fiat. Will let you know when I'm gonna do it if your up for it, and who ever else wants to join.

sure thing, at the moment we have 9 drivers. A tuning session would be good, just let me know Well i would like to start racing near the end of the month, so we can try to get as many drivers as possible.
 
Hey cox you should put the color choices in the drivers list, so everyone knows what is taken and whats not. I will be running blue cars with white wheels.

Sorry guys. I don't think I'll have time to be in any future events as I'm going to be very busy the next couple months. Coxbox, I'll send back your 2CV later if you want it back. I'm sorry. I'm quitting the series. Anyone can have the red car/black wheels color scheme now if they want it.

I brugab, I'm up for a training session at some point, just got a brand new tune for my 500 which promises to knock a second off a lap. So I need to try it out at some point.

Im available Monday or Tuesday for some time attack and racing with both cars.

Edit i am also working on a idea for posting our lap times so we can compare.

Ok, just arrived and will do a few laps now, but maybe some things come in the way. During the week I can manage to do some laps, mostly in afternoon somewhere between 5pm and 7pm...

That's good idea cox, only thing it might be worth adding is tyre choice to the table? Cause my nurb time was done on Racing Softs. Unless the only times you want adding are the ones using Sports Soft / Intermediate.
 
Yes just SS/Intermediates.
