Hey, umm I am confused on fight night, do you use the automatic punching system or the manual control one with the analog stick? Which one is stronger? Fighting is gettin kinda hard now because the people block a lot and i wanna know if manual punching control is better than auto

I use control scheme 5. This allows me to throw the jabs, straights and hooks using the buttons. I leave uppercuts to the right analog stick. Blocking is as simple as holding R1 and moving the right analog in the direction you want to protect. Dodging is done by holding L1 and moving the left analog in the proper direction.

The total punch control is a nice feature but it's just too damn slow. In the higher difficulty modes, it's impossible for me to use it as fast as I need. You can get out a really nice flurry of blows much more easily using the buttons.

im fast and better with TPC than with buttons.

it is also better because you can wind for punches....but you dont ALWAYS have to throw them like with buttons.

and in the later fights, the key is counter punches with strings after those punches.

Ya I use the normal settings, I find this game the most realistic boxing game ever and I finally got to see the fight I've always wanted to see: oldschool Muhammad Ali Vs. Lennox Lewis, but I got one complaint, when I knockdown my opponents they seem to jiggle more than jello, I've always found this extremely entertaining.
