File Is Corrupt!

I just completed a few of my first hybrids, but when I try to lod the game save on GT3 it says the file is corrupt. Any ideas on what i may be doing wrong?

I'm new to all of this so if I'm not giving enough info or I'm missing something completely obvious, just let me know.
 
It would be hard for anyone here to tell what the problem is without being able to see the file.

What are you using to hybrid with?
Have you been able to load the game with hybrids built on it prior to now?
Did you change alot since you were able to load the game?
 
If you're using an earlier version of mk's GT3gEdit (last version is v38), you'll find that if you drag & drop cars in your garage to re-order them, it can corrupt your save file.
 
OK...

I'm using GS2 Version 4, the newest Sharkport, and Mk. Prog V.38.

I haven't had a problem uploading/saving garages and making hybrids within the program, or writing the saves onto the memory card.

When GT3 starts up though, the file always says "File Is Corrupt" at the auto-load screen.

Anything else I'm missing? Thanks for your help & patience...
 
Post the affected save file in your next post. Someone will certainly download it and check it out.
 
how exactly would I do that? I'm computer iliterate.

I went back, started a new game, bought a PT Cruiser. Went into the Mk program and swapped the engine just to see what would happen.

When I saved and tried to load it on GT3, it still said file corrupted. Am i sabing them correctly? I'm saving them as P2M files, is that correct?

I feel like complete moron...
 
I am also one of the new ppl to this site but not new to the game and i was wondering what i need to buy (or download if possible) so that i can make hybrid cars i live in the US and if anyone can give me help that would be great
 
NO NO NO NO NO!!!!


I dont intend to attack anyones knowledge...

BUT GS2 v4 AND THE NEW SHARKPORT 2 v2 USES .P2M FILES, NOT .SPS!!!!

HalcyonDays03, go to the site in my sig and at the bottom of the page is a guide for using MKs with your version of the sharkport. You need a PS2 save file builder to convert the file correctly back into a .P2M, my site will tell you where to get that. The codes listed at my site are also the codes you need if you enter codes manually into the gameshark. Let me know if you get it to work!
