I hope I'm not breaking any rules but...
You have to pay $24.00 and I guess I want to hear some opinions about it. Is it worth it? I mean really worth it? I heard you could do do things on Kazza that I didn't know you could do and that piqued my interest.

You have to pay $24.00, for what Kazza?
I doubt it.
So are we just discussing the merits of filesharing p2p systems?

I have no idea what Napsters been up to since it got shut down the first time. I got my 1500+ songs and I'm happy. But I want to take file sharing to the next level... programs, games, etc. ANd I always see this Kazza mentioned so I went to www.kazza.com and saw that it's $24.00 and you have to download this CD burning software, whcih I already have...

Bla bla bla... I just want to hear from people who use it or have used it to know if it's worth it.

I speed read it, nothing I didnt know there.

But I still wouldnt touch Kazaa/Kazaalite/grockster/morpheus with a 10 foot bargepole.

If you want music try soulseek, or blubster.
If you want movies try direct connect.

WinMX is the way to go. Its got audio, video and other file types. You can get it at www.winmx.com. Its a really short download on 56k and there is no spy ware or anything like that.

I found this here:http://www.simplythebest.net/info/spyware.html

"eZula & KaZaa Toptext

Sells targeted traffic based on the content of everyone's web page without having to develop any content of their own. There is a new file sharing system launched in the wake of the MP3 war called KaZaa. When you install KaZaa you get a spyware virus installed on your computer. Toptext takes control of your browser and makes changes to everything you read on the Internet (like Flyswat), which qualifies it as a hacking program as well. It changes the way you'll browse forever."

Sorta makes me not want to do it.

Winmx is good, I forgot about that one.

Its good to hear this is a good one, I'd to think I know what I am doing sometimes!

It is the one I am currently using! Haven't had much of a problem. :D

WinMX is the best for everything. Kazaa isn't good for MP3's or rips because it restricts you to searching for 128 Kbps and less and less than 200 MB files.

I dissagree. I just dont like it plus to get it to work i have to turn off my firewall.

If you have to turn off your firewall, then you haven't properly configured your firewall's rules! It's perfectly possible to configure the firewall to allow access to the internet for that particular application only.

I use BearShare mainly, and Kazaa at times. I really agree with the report's comments on BearShare performance depending on which servers you get connected to - sometimes it will find everything, sometimes nothing.
