Well, I went to Blockbuster last night and decided to rent FFCC last night. My first impression of this game was very weird. The turn based slow battles are gone, You can play in multiplayer, and it looked a lot like Dark Cloud 2. After a while, though, The game takes a turn for the coolness. It reminded me more of an action game than an RPG. You chose from 4 clans of characters, you name them, tell their gender, and chose the way they will look. than you set out on a giant quest for some funny named stuff. Okay the battles are COOL! you run around and you can attack, cast spells, and heal yourself. There are "dungeons" where you have to get through them to get some of the funny named stuff. basically, anyone who has played Diablo kinda would have a hang of the battle system, except for the clicking part. You approach the enemy and press attack to (obviously) attack and he will hit anyone he is looking at basicly. There is a real cool magic system in the game. in a dungeon you will get stones when you kill people that are magic. you equip the stones and you can even fuse them together. My favorite combo is Life stone added with thunder stone gives you holy magic that takes a big chunk out of an enemy's HP. There is a boss in each dungeon and they are pretty difficult so far. The weapon and armor can not be simply bought anymore. you have to have pieces of scrap metal. Well, I know this review isn't to in depth but the game is pretty cool so far.

I give it an 9.5/ 10
