I need a game save for Final Fantasy X to get me past the spot where the game likes to bind at the end of the first big battle. Can anyone tell me what Game Save I need and can I get it at CodeJunkies or GameShark. Or can I get it from someone here?

you mean the one where seymour gives you a hand against the combination monster just before Sin shows up?

i've heard complaints about this glitch several times for FF10. i think it's in the actuall program, thge way it keeps popping up.

unfortunately, I'm on the last main temple, near the end confrontations. I'm gonna check with my "moved" saves and see if I have a leftover somewhere.

Thanks, I greatly appreciate this, and yes I have found out that it is a very common glitch.

I replaced my copy entirely. the disk was badly battered, anyway.

there's nothing in my on-comp save pile. I'll decompress an old file and get past that point for you. I've got to have somewhere to stick the save, though.

I know this might seem like an off-topic post here but I was wondering 2 things:

1. How long is Final Fantasy X-2 through the first time around?
2. In "Belville", where is Vegnagun located at and how hard is he?

the length depends on if you go straight through only the required stuff rather than all the sidequests. I'm only into chapter three.

vegnagun is way under Bevelle, and moves untill the final confrontation.

you can also find more information on gamefaqs.com
quick tip: Locate the "mascot" dressphere for some major fiend kicking action (and a VERY sour paine!)

How exactly does the "Mascot" dressphere work?

I haven't made it to the actual "mascot" dressphere, myself, yet. i used an ARMax to sample them before trying for a "hard way" (I'm an older gamer that started on "pong").

like all other dresspheres, poke it in the Garment grid.
however, the three girls get a different character
Yuna ends up in a Moogle suit with healing abilities
Rikku ends up in a Cat Sith suit with elemental attack abilities (that also petrify!)
Paine ends up, to her utter disgust, in a tonberry suit with status effects abilities. her firs words upon use are "Don't say a word..."

I see. Were you able to learn Yuna's "Burst Shot" ability?

that also comes with cheat device codes. ARMax provides a "quick Learn" code for Dresspheres (you learn an ability with every turn, and can completely master all a dressphere's abilities in ONE battle at high-ends

Road Rash: sorry for taking so long, but I got through a sticky part on my own save file, and completed in less than 50 hrs. I need to start working on yours again. I'm trying not to use any stat bumper cheats so you'll get a "pure" save.

that early?

well, hope you got a good supply run.
we had a computer fry last week (I'm now on a new one). combine that with a huge cold, and these morons I work for running my tail off all the time, I didn't get to do much.
hope you and the kids have a lot of fun. watch it when you get up to Zanarekand at the end, because the monsters and bosses need some major butt-kicking, which means you better level; your butts up through the roof.
