I bought a silver 10th Anniversary Cobra off of eBay Friday evening. Drove down to Tifton, GA yesterday to pick it up. She(yes, it's a girl) had 1,144 miles on her when we got there, and now after driving it back, driving to a chinese restraunt, Wal-Mart once, and to the Air Force Base today, she has 1,506 miles on her. The red and black leather interior rocks. The silver-faced guages rock. The 467.3rwhp and 486.9rwtq also rocks.;)

The guy I bought it off of is a total car nut. He's had Vipers, Vette's, Supra's, Lightnings, etc. He currently has a '95(I believe) ZR1 stock, with 15,000 miles on it. His other car is a Lingenfelter TT C5. After we signed some papers, and exchanged some checks, he asked if I was ready to take a ride in it because over the phone I asked him to if he wouldn't mind. At medium boost(6psi, which is what we ran it with because he only had a mixture of about 101 in the car) the thing puts down 640rwhp. Couldn't get traction anywhere under 110mph. Pulled insanely fast up to 140-160 many times.

Anyhoo, the Cobra has a 2.80 pulley, 100mm Metco idler, aftermarket CAI(forgot which brand), ported & polished intake, throttle body spacer, Bassani cat-back, Bassani x-pipe, and probably some other **** I'm forgetting. I've got a dyno slip for it stock/modded. Put down 36X/36X stock and 467.3/486.9 modded. I have all of the original documents, and all of the original parts. It came with Billet aluminum wheel spacers in box. Four brand new never opened in box polished 5-spoke 2003 SVT Cobra wheels. He bought it December 18th of 2003. Had it titled the 20th of December. The damn thing is only 5 weeks old, and so is the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty. Doesn't have "the tick," yet, and it hasn't done the infamous stall while making a turn while slowing down.

With the Eagle F1's any throttle in 1st just gives me tons of tire spin with a little wheel hop. Second is just violent tire spinning. 3rd and 4th has just been ridiculous amounts of torque accompanied by whining with the sweet sound of that Bassani screaming out back.

I've had three jackasses ask me to race them already. They all work at some auto store(like AutoZone, or some ****). Asked me about it when I came in, after I informed them that it had over 460hp they told me they could take me. They pointed to a Civic coupe with a ghey hood, a white 95ish V6 Mustang with blue stripes, and a newer body style Celica. One said something about a red button, implying he had nitrous, but I ignored them and kindly asked if they had a fuse my father was looking for. Coming out of the store two fine ass girls getting out of a Yukon told me they liked my Mustang.;)👍 Gotta love it.

Pictures to come ASAP.

Meh. I considered it, but for the deal I got on this Mustang I just couldn't.:(

I tried uploading pictures to a webhosting site, but I suck ass at it. I don't have a program on this(Dad's) computer so I can't shrink the pictures, and I can't post them because they're huge. If you'd like pictures just post your e-mail address and I'll send them as soon as possible. If I e-mail them to someone and they would like to host them that would be great, and I would be very appreciative.

If you want pictures of something specific on the car just say so and I'll get those as well.

It pegs past 10 on the stock gauge. I think I remember reading somewhere that with the 2.8 inch pulley, and other mods it's running it should be over 17, but don't quote me on that. After a radar detector, and sub-frame connectors, an autometer boost gauge will be my first mod.

That is awesome. The new cobras are absolute beasts. They handle fairly well with their rear end....or was this one replaced, I know a lot of drag racers put the solid one in.

Nah, it still has the factory IRS rear. Wheel hops like a *****. A solid would be nice, but only after 3 years or 36,000 miles.;)

It's definitely a beast. Fastest car I've ever driven or ridden in that I can recall. Not counting the Lingenfelter, of course.

I saw a video of a modified DSM trying to toy with one of those, thinking it was a normal C5... When it finally decided to play with them, they were in shock. I was in shock, those sound awsome.

Yeah. I'm sure the guys at Autozone or Pep Boys reeeealllly know what they're talking about. The same people that can "tune" a Civic from a good economy car into a pile.

None the less, nice car. Congrats on the buy!

Plan a few green bills for the rear tires, too! I can't believe i'm actually saying this, but the current Cobra's the only modern 'Stang i can look at without throwing up...

Heh. No joke. For now I'm trying to be responsible, and stay out of it, but the whine/torque is extremely addicting. Plus the Bassani sounds so damn mean. I bet the first time I have to buy a new set of tires I'll keep my foot out.;)

Same here. The '03/'04 Cobra coupe is really the only stang I'm willing to own. If it weren't for how aggressive the front looks, and its performance, I wouldn't have one now.

If you wouldnt mind Josh, could you PM me with the price. I've got a cousin who's loking into buying a cobra so he may find this interesting. Thanks.

PM sent.

I was so lucky with this car. He put it up on eBay on a 7 day ad. We sent an e-mail when the auction still had 6 days and 21 hours left offering him whatever he wanted for his reserve, and he bit. As we were closing the deal that day(or the next) over the phone, he got over 13 e-mails, and 30 phone calls with offers $3,000+ more than our agreed price. Real stand-up guy, and kept his side of the deal. Couldn't be happier.

Everyone- Not sure how long it will take with the pics. The generous person who offered to host them is probably stressing out right now because I had to send like 15 separate e-mails because with Hotmail I could only send one at a time.

haha, you ninny. AutoZone pwnes joo! :P

Nice F'ing car though Josh. Now don't go slamming it into the back of any trucks OK. ;)

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4287815197

I just created that imagestation.com album. Hopefully it works. Sorry for the few pictures that contain my ugly mug.

Thanks once again milefile for offering to host my pictures. I really appreciate it.:) It looks like I won't need to use up your bandwidth as long as the imagestation album stays up.

I'll post more later. If you have any requests post them here. Nothing stupid like burnouts, or pegged speedo's. At least until I get a radar detector, and feel completely comfortable with the car.:P

Thanks.:D

Hehe. My Dad saved one of those Accord pictures on my mom's log-on background this morning so she'd see it everytime she gets on the computer. She didn't think it was too funny - especially since I just got a 500hp car. I thought it was pretty damn funny, though.

Oh, and, on the way back from Georgia I made her cry. Pulled from 50-105 in 4th gear, and she started crying knowing I'd be driving something that fast. Wuss!

Hey, what's your password to view your pics?

God damn son of a... Wait a few minutes so I can figure out how to take that off.

Meh. In my account it was saying I don't have an album, so I couldn't remove the password. Starting a new one real quick without(as far as I know. I DIDN'T put a password on it this time, so there should be NONE) one. Will post a link in about 17 minutes. I'm VERY sorry for the delay.

I suck at the internet too.:( For how much time I used to spend on the computer I sure don't know jack **** about it.

5 minutes remaining uploading pictures.

Also I made a mistake in the original post. It has 486.9rwtq, not 468.9.:embarrassed:
