Man, those tires are wider then Oprah's hips.

You need them Josh. You need them. :D

So is this turbo/SC stock equipment right?
Is there a way to adjust boost?
What kind of guages came with the car? (Not what brand.)

Yes, the Eaton S/C is factory. To adjust boost you change out the pulley's with different sized ones. With the 2.80 upper pulley it raises boost from 6-7(I think that's stock boost) up to around 17.

Speedo, tach, boost gauge, oil pressure, temp, and gas. I'll post a pic in a sec.

They're silver-faced gauges. They don't show up in pictures for ****.

Probably. That guy probably makes 60-80rwhp and 80-100rwtq less than I do. All he has is a Fluidyne Heat Exchanger(looks badass), Bassani X-pipe/catback, and a UPR intake.

I just need a set of DR's.;)

I thought changing the pulley size seriously kills the life of a supercharger.

I know it seriously kills the warranty.

But yeah, I'm sure it does. When it's pumping out 4x's the amount of boost, it's bound to be ****ing something up. I don't think it's to the point where I'm overspinning the blower yet. As soon as I have enough saved up I'll be sending it to Apten to have it ported & polished. It adds like 30-40rwhp(and less than 10tq) guranteed, and makes the blower more efficient. There will also be a larger intercooler, and huge aftermarket heat exchanger(possible a Gord's, or Fluidyne) going on sometime soon.

Just a little horror story for you.

My friend with a G60 Corrado changed the pulley on his SC once. Ran fine for a month or two (as a daily driver) but then the supercharger just had enough and pretty much imploded on itself. The engine sucked up parts of his SC and went all through it. It scored all the pistons, he lost all compression, he effectivly turned his whole engine into a pile of scrap.

He and the mechanic blamed the pulley he put on there.

The way I always saw SC's is that if they were ment to make 17 boost, they would come making it right from the get go. So don't push them too hard kinda thing or else when they do finally blow you are screwed.

Err... I guess what i am saying is goodluck with it and hopefully you never have the problem my friend had.

My Dad insisted we change the oil inside the garage with the doors closed because of wind, and that was as much space as we had to work with. That's the hitch to my Dad's covered motorcycle trailer. I was ****ing pissed when I saw how close it was.

Or, "Akira is just a jealous bastard."

From what I understand, changing the supercharger pulleys to increase boost will somewhat hinder the top-end of the car if the supercharger hits its max rpms before your engine does (yes that is possible). I've never heard about superchargers imploding or anything from using overdrive pulleys, but I don't doubt it's possible, especially when you've increased the boost that much. I'd be careful! I'll just suggest you do some homework on that pulley to make sure it's okay before you possibly kill the poor 4.6L.

nice pics man!!!
its giving me motovation to work hard and buy a nice RWD car with plenty of power...
btw my g20 does the "infamous stall while making a turn while slowing down."

Whee, I got my name in a picture. I effin own j00 Akira. RUNVS?

I bet your car sounds amazing Josh. Stock Cobras themselves do.
