Finally I reached B-Spec 40

The Sebastian Vettel X1 special event shows up at level 30. It also lets you buy the X1 from the "Gran Turismo" dealer lot, but you have to be level 40 to purchase it ($20M). At level 40, I doubt they would just give it to you. It just lets you buy it. However, at level 30, you can win it from the X1 challenge, but it is really tough to win.

I believe it is to do with whether they need a rest or not. Downward Orange for eg shows they need resting.

I've raced my guys after they had downward arrows and during the race I'd keep them in the blue the whole time. They usually finish the race at either green even arrow or a blue upwards. I think it just means you've been racing poorly with them. IDK though.

Congrats to the OP though. I bet you're pissed the Endurance races pay so little or you'd have loads of Cr right now.
 
If you reach Spec B level 30, do you unlock the Sebastien Vettel event or is that only if you reach Spec A level 30?
 
Its not confusing at all.

Bob Lv. is not the same thing as B-Spec Lv.

Bob Lv. Dictates ur driver Stats, how well he drives, and its individual to each Driver u Have.

B-Spec Lv. (or career as ur saying) Is the Blue bar on top of "Your Home" screen in Game, just next to the Red A-Spec Bar.

Your B-Spec Leveling and Bobs one also have Different Pace, Bob Levels way faster than you.

There is bad AI in bspec just as there is in aspec. If your driver is aggressive and tries to brake late, the AI will run into him.
If your guy is in the blue, you're doing it wrong. He will be careful and follow the racing line at his slow pace. He will be overtaken. The point is to keep it above the middle mark and as the driver progresses in levels, you should keep him at about 75% or higher, he will rarely make mistakes and his pace will be optimal.



You have all that going on and still managed to get to bspec level 40 much much faster than me. I have been running bspec for about 3-4hrs a day. I had it running while doing homework, doing chores and while working. I just got to level 22 and just level 21 took about 2hrs doing LIKE THE WIND.

3-4hrs a day, lol I haven't shut off my ps3 since GT5 launch day, i have been doing B-Spec 24/7. I just time it and go back 2 restart the races, then i go do other things. I have completed over 350 races so far with around 270 wins in B-Spec. Endurance Races give u hundreds of thousand of XP, alot alot of XP but low cash rewards. Two 9hr endurance races and u go up a level, One 24hour endurance and u really go up in stats. There is no way i will have time to do this in A-Spec unless i pause the race and come back later to it or my kid takes over for a while.

People keep complaining about the bad AI, lol there is no bad AI in B-spec just bad button mashing from people that don't understand when to tell B-Dude to pace up or overtake

This is plain wrong, the AI is horrible. Just run oval Daytona and watch Bob brake in the middle of the start-finish straight for no apparent reason. He's also always too late on accelerating in the exit of corners and he generally drives like my aunt would.

The only reason He can actually win races is because of the Uber cars players have.

I am B-Class 40 and Career B-Class 34 1/2 lol, i have an endurance race going as i type this and will be Career B-Class 35 later this afternoon. I will confirm this in a few hours. The X-1 supposedly unlocks at Career B-Class 35 not regular B-Class 35. Didn't u guys notice that there are 2 B-Class trophies but one is called Career Milestone or something like that, plus when a race ends the XP is given to 2 stats, it took me awhile to notice this also. I actually noticed this when I reached B-Class 30 and got the trophy but my career B-Class was in the low twenties. Weird system PD, lol i hope they improve it for GT6.

He's a pansy early on. He gets better. You'd be braking at level 5 doing 150 mph at Daytona too, it's probably pretty scary.

My guy is currently doing the NASCAR races, which are pretty much the definition of an equal car, and he does just fine at the ovals, as long as I keep him full red. For the ovals full red is necessary for a fast lap. Everywhere else it's somewhere around the middle to slightly above or below middle. You have to keep them cooler earlier on, but you can push them harder when they get better.
 
You know, GT Harry GT, there is no offense, but some reason there is always some drama or event going on that involves you. Albiet accusations of scamming, lying, etc. I am happy to congratulate anyone on a well earned status, or such. However, with all the speculation, I myself began to question your B-Spec level 40 you posted to everyone a few days back, until I checked your PSN, which this was the results. Today, there were trophies dated December 13th, 2010, so this is very well up to date.

After you were confronted by everyone, you said your Bob was level 40, and your B-Spec level was 34 1/2, which was not what the post implied. Well, then I noticed this. I am not sure if your Bob being level 40 gives you this trophy, but it did leave a few open questions.

I will admit, you do have him over level 30. The trophy above "The Air of Excellence" is "A Star is Born". People have repeatedly asked for video proof of your PSN or such on the video on different threads, which you have not provided, and there are numerous allegations against you. I am not accusing you, but merely stating that if you wish for people to believe you after you make high claims, you "must" be able to back them up with some type of evidence.

Your attitude toward people when they want you to prove something or challenge your credibility you respond in hostility or or a rude comment. You clearly have the capability, so just simply post a video of all the requests to solve a lot of the problems.

AND to all the smart people in here, how can psn update my stats when i am not connected 24/7 to the internet, also my GT5 community log is messed up(see other thread for proof from photobucket pic) and has not updated on dec 11 and dec 12. Also i received gifted cars 24 hours late from the time the other person sent it which ended up in an argument of who scammed who but it was the server screwing up and not a scam. Please turn on your brains before investigating a topic.

Yeah, the second one is driver level. No one cares about that. When we say B-spec level we're talking about the one that appears at the top of the main menu next to your A-spec level.

P.S. Didn't you tell us you were level 34 after you'd already claimed to have the X1 which is unlocked at B-spec level 35?

P.P.S. Your trophy stats say they were updated on the 13th, that's yesterday bro, you've connected recently.

Go outside for a while. lol like psn VDOP doing background investigations on trophies and other psn's. LOL some people play offline dude, wake up VDOP.

Dude you've been found out, trying to insult us for merely pointing out the fact you were deceiving everybody is not gonna change anything. Quit it with the offline crap as well, it says right there you were connected yesterday, lying won't help you.

Oh, and "go outside"? I'm not the one who claimed to have been playing B-spec 24/7 since the game came out. This whole topic is bunk.
 
I was not intending to upset you, but was just letting you know people like to see proof. I was merely showing you what people see, and PMing a rant to me doesn't help. Anyway, for the others that didn't notice, I put an arrow to show when there is confirmation that it was updated sometime after this point, because a trophy or date would not show up otherwise.

Go to http://us.playstation.com/mytrophies/ and look to the immedaite right hand side. You can enter any gamer's PSN and see all their trophies. Granted, they aren't always 100% updated, and can take up to 24 hours to update. However, if there is a dated trophy it was at least updated since then.

because the driver evolves faster than "yourself".

the bspec single bar that appears after the money prize on each race, is slower than the bspec bob driver bar.

what i mean, is, i am at level 36 (myself/manager/whatever you wanna call it) and my driver is almost 37. i know this contradicts what i said before, but bear in mind that my driver didnt do all the races.

meaning that, my bspec manager points (level 36), were enough to level my 6 drivers to: almost 37, 36, 35, 35, 12, 11.

if this makes sense.

well GT harry GT. i tend to believe in you and congratulate you for your achievement. altough it is obvious that you dont have the "manager level 40 trophy" because you said yourself that you are in level 37, it is also possible, that you dont have the "veteran driver" because it might not arrive even though your driver is level 40. it might arrive only when the stats are decreasing. level 41. level 50. level 40+ i dont know.

stop hating people. why would he lie? to be the mega master of gtplanet? i doubt that he lied, and even if he did, he is still not the mega master of gtplanet, because you are hating.

well harry, if you get to win the real SLS, take me for a spin.

I suspect the Air of Experience trophy is obtained by having a driver fill up the career bar (experience bar in NA version) rather than attaining class 40.

I believe that is true, also. It's just tough to see, since no one has done it yet.
