But im pretty sure we will be seeing more styles from you Rezz? Keep em coming bro. I liked it.;)

???? I don't want people to do the same thing. It has nothing to do with that. Understanding technique, and weight transfer is just a tool to help you perform whatever style you want. That is my point....... ;)

Geez. There you go again!!! YOU are utterly convinced that I don't have any drifting knowledge? That smacks of egotism, and frankly man, thats the problem right there...

Some advice: Stop talking down to me and *GIVE ME A GODDAM BREAK*, and I'm sure we can get along.

Pleeeeeease, don't take that out of context.

Furthermore, none of what you posted above makes any sense...... It is a fact, that bouncing off the red line, causes your power to be cut off. This is a simulation game, and it does effect it. If you want to continue to do that, that's fine, I was merely trying to help you become a better drifter, and then you just shot down every bit of criticism I layed down. It seams you are the one who can't take criticism......
I could've shot that vid without sound, then you would've been none the wiser about the rev limiter... thats how gay your argument is.

Sloppy nonsense??????? There you go again. Prick.

IT'S A VIDEO OF SOME DRIFT I DID IN MY SPARE TIME.

GET OVER IT.

I CAN take critisizm... I even thanked you for your advice in my first post... oh, but thats all forgotten now, isn't it?

Oh, and you seem to be forgetting this too...

Did I tell you what you were doing wrong? Since when have you, OH DRIFTING GOD, have the right to just come on here and condescendingly preach YOUR drifting style as THE drifting style that I have to master, in order to gain your respect?

I'll get right to the point:

I didn't come on here to get respect, I just wanted to show some fellow GT3 drifters HOW WE DRIFT IN JAPAN.

Thanks for listening.

One more thing, silviadrifter, I don't want to drift like you, I want to drift like me. Unfortunately for you, that involves me using the e-brake 'till it falls off, and having the rev limiter bounce to hell and back. Is that ok with you?

Oh, does anyone else want to join the "Rezz' Sloppy Nonsense school of Unrefined Drifting"?

Hahahahah. :D

Hi Rezz. Hopefully its safe to come out now. First off the video was nice. You have pontential. Second, I respect your style even if you use the e-barke which makes your style unique because you hardly see any videos around here with the e-brake being used. You mentioned what if you didnt put sound on here.. well you did and I think SD is just trying to tell you that your limiting your power and its good that you put the sound so someone could tell you that but, I dont know and i'm not here to start a war cause if I do I have to bring my troops and you dont want me to do that understand? Nah I'm Just kidding. Anyway back to the video. I see you like to link your drifts. Aslo you can start your drift before the corner with weight transfer just like the e-brake. I do it sometimes. Whats this crossed up your talking about?
Other then that i say your video was good no matter if it was sloppy.

Heheh, you won't believe it, but I started using the e-brake because I saw "Battle Magazine" 2000 Final Video... so in actual fact, I am copying real life drifting... just more exteme. Well, it is just a game, right? :)

Yeah, no arguments there. One thing I will say about silviadrifters videos is that I thought it was cool how early he started the drift without the e-brake. So yeah, point taken about the weight transfer method... I even do it myself on the longest corner at Apricot Hill.

About the "crossed up" thing, I meant that when the cars rear end is 35 degrees out with the front wheels at full opposite lock... does that make sense? If you use the e-brake (pulling it up and down) you can keep the car in that position waaaaaay before the corner... that why I do it.

So gang, I just want to pull the longest drifts possible. Me and my friends here don't try and copy the real life stuff SO much (we have real cars for that), but with GT3 drift, it's more "who can drift at ******* track the longest and baddest".

But 100 points to all the GTP drifters who are going for ultimate style. To be honest, I don't think I have the patience for that, but the longer I stay here... well we'll see, k?

Cheers for the extra feedback too guys. I'm taking it all onboard, trust me! :)

I agree with Rezz completely, and many others. Everybody has their own style. As for me, I respect somebody with a different style, because I know that either I have tried and can't do it, or I haven't had the knowledge to develope such a technique. So good job Rezz.

But like i said, everybody has their own style and their own opinions. So let's all try to get along. GTP is a place that is supposed to get people with the same interests to join together and share their talents and give advice. But most of all, make new friends. So lets all just try to get along.

Good video, good drifts.

I recommend you learn weight transfer, not so you can drift like SD or anything, but because with the added knowledge you might be able to do some things that you can't with e-brake. Your style is cool, and unique, but I like to learn as many techniques as possible so that I can use any whenever I need to. Going to fast? I'll use Braking drift. Losing the drift? e-brake/throttle. Going a little too fast? I'll use gas-off. It is so much more enjoyably to be able to use many techniques whenever one is needed then to have just one.

This is all I was trying to say, all along. I don't want you or anyone to drift like me, and I didn't say anything that should make anyone think that. If you understand all the techniques, and tuning, you will be a more well rounded drifter..... period. However, Rezz, you seam to think that you have already reached your peak skills. I'll leave it at that.....

;)

Agreed. I admit, I go into almost every corner (fcuking early mind you) with the e-brake applied. I do this, and I'll say it once more for clarities sake, to do longest, earliest drift possible.

Take the first tight hairpin at Grand Valley on my vid as an example... that car is locked up sideways coming down the hill approaching the hairpin, when it's not even near the corner. THAT is what I like doing.

But as far as other techniques go, what about going over the hill (the left/right bit before the first tight hairpin), thats pure weight transfer right there. So I got 2 methods going... but anyways, I just wanna do looooooong drifts... well before the corner using the e-brake.

No I don't. I probably CAN get better... but I don't want to. This is just a game, it's enjoyable for me doing what I do, and thats all there is to it.

Thats my point. So don't come on here saying my drift is inferior to yours. YOU may think so, but there probably 3000 other people that don't.

Variety man... variety.

This is enough internet action for me for one day, I'll see you guys later with the other Apricot Hill vid...

If you don't want to get better, then that's fine. If I would have known that in the beginning, this wouldn't have happened, but that isn't anyones fault..................

I never once said your drifts were inferior, you keep puting words in my mouth. I think you have a lot of room for improvement. But anyway, keep doing what your doing because it seams to make you happy..............

;)

and finally, your going to diss my vids, when yours is nothing in comparison.
Please don't start being all hypocritical now...

Thanks to one or two members, putting up that G-Valley vid has to be one of the most irritating things I've done this year.

Just to let you guys know, support for my vid (as in: people who actually thought it was good) is about 70%, and the other 30% is from "younger" guys who just say "Thats not how you drift! I'll show you how it's done... errr... when I get some free time..."

Enuff said.

Hey Rezz!
Do you mind posting your setup, I really want to see how it performs, Because your style is pretty cool and unqiue.:)

i will have to agree with you there, great work Rezz 👍

Damn good video.. u've got a nice style w/ the e break. I guess people didnt realize u were trying to make the car look like it was hard to control. I dunno.. i only use the handbreak on FF cars, but this drifting iz more about style than speed. it wasnt too uncrolled because u kept a decent race line w/ the drifts.
