Okay, The standard bind for reverse is triangle. This sucks, or is it just me?

But when i spin or get stuck on a barrier, finding the reverse button is though because the wheel is often upside down.

Does anyone have a better alternative?

I don't find it an issue really but I heard someone else mention having a controller nearby and use that to reverse. Not sure if that'll work though.

Can you bind it to the centre 'Horn' button instead?

When I used a Driving Force (Pro I think, the one made for GT4) I never really found it to be an issue. However, you can map reverse to a different button if you wish, just go to the options screen and find one that you like better.

I only use the paddles for shifting, so I have the gearstick mapped so forward is reverse and backwards is handbrake. Way easier to find when you need to get back on the track in a hurry or swing the back end of you rally car a bit more half-way round a turn.

Not a bad idea that! I might try keeping a controller handy too. Thanks for the advice guys.

I think my real solution will be to stop crashing!

+1 👍

That exactly what I do with my G25 too, it's so intuitive 👍

Trying to find the triangle button after you're steaming mad from just being put into a wall is hopeless...

Never thought of doing that. Thanks. 👍

Doesn't the push down reverse work on GT5?
