sytnd = sit and

Wow!

Nice vid, ugly sound, and many thanks for the useless spam/flames/calling people out/etc in this thread. Much appreciated :)

/sarcasm.

That's class! Can u make this happen on purpose?
I doubt it. He showed a replay which should mean he hasn't been able to do it again.

That was a great contribution.....to the very problems you were pointing out.

Ugly vid, nice sound? :odd:

It's not the tune it's the driver.
Just because you use his tune ( if he gives it to you) dosnt mean you will drift like that.

There's a Supra video where it does that.

It's awesome.

Maybe PD is researching something related to the fuel mixture? Then, the flames happen?

That's pretty cool. I'll also add that you are a really good drifter. I would have smashed into the wall at least 10 times trying to pull that off.

its the driver on one part yes but also people have drift tunes. i was just wandering if he had too.. and yeh i can drift, lol

It is the tyres burning, not exhaust. You can see the tyre indicators going briefly from red to flaming yellow.

I have never seen it happen, but I also have no drifting skills. Perhaps it is only possible to heat the tyres like this on cobblestones, not on tarmac? Not that it would make any sense.

Looks great 👍

No no, its the exhaust!

Another one:

Wow that's really cool. I'm going to have to try that when I get home from work. Looks really angry with the RUF blasting dual flames.

That's fairly awesome. It's strange that changing gear fixes it, since it doesn't actually require a gear change to initiate a "backfire", you can do it just by revving freely. I wonder, as others have stated, if PD aren't messing around with overrun in some way behind the scenes?

By the way, Ruf is pronounced closer to "roof" (long vowel, like "who") not "rough". ;)

Thats pretty cool, although that sort of flames should realistically be happening on the over-run (that is, when lifting off after hard throttle). I wish GT5 would have this (that is, lots of flames like this on the over-run).

That does happen. When you rev quickly and lift off? It happens.
