Everyday when I scan my with Spybot, the only spyware found is in my Firefox Cookies folder, even though I have cookies turned off, and specified only 1-3 sites that I want cookies allowed from the folder still manages to get more cookies from any other site I visit. Thus, I'm getting more and more spyware cookies in Firefox. :nervous: .

Help?

Why don't you want cookies? Cookies aren't bad, they just remember whatr sites you go to and stuff. Most spyware programs claim them to be spyware because you don't need to have them.

Are you running firefox 0.8 or 1.0? (go to help->about mozilla firefox to find out)

Definetly get the new version if you are running 0.8. Other than that, I don't know because I don't mind cookies.

Jeez, talk about paranoia.

Cookies probably have the lowest priority of all spyware (even though 99.9% of them are harmless). It's pointless even bothering about them.
