Could you try it with S1, S2 or S3 tires? Also since they are using DFGT's I would advise putting the FFB to 10. I find 10 gives a lot feedback. Thanks.
I will try them, but even with R2s it is already quite hard. I plan to go again next Friday.

hey did you just go there and ask to play gt5? I'm thinking of going to my local dealer but afraid they're gonna diss a 16 yo kid lol
I called first to ask whether they have the demo at all. It seems that there are many dealers in Holland that do not have the demo.
If your dealer has the demo, then of course you can play, but bringing an adult along might help anyway. So, just call them and ask. 👍

10?! gees that's way too much. In the Time trial 3-4 for me.
In Prologue I use 6. Depends on the car though, some cars feel a lot harder to turn

Denur - how is the anti-aliasing and sound in the demo?

Does it sound like an AMG V8?!

The anti-aliasing seems to be ok. No noticeable jaggies, nor image tearing. It is all very smooth.

Can't tell much about the sound, because the volume was set a bit low (the pod is placed in the showroom). Next time I'll pay more attention to it and check if it sounds like this:

maybe bring a set of headphones :)

Well, I went again during lunch hour today, with a pair of headphones. Sadly enough the wire is too short (by as much as half a meter, or 2 feet). With the pod's speakers I don't hear the same engine noise as in the clip posted above, no deep rumble sound. But again, the volume of the setup is too low (I did turn it up a bit though). I listened to the sound in all three views (3rd person, bumper and in-car), but was not impressed, not while stationary, racing and up and down shifting. Next time I'll ask them whether it is OK to put the volume to the max for a little while, but I will have to pick a time when there are no customers around (it was very busy today).

I used S2 tires for a while and they are spot on for this car. Yes, it is harder than with racing tires, but very doable. What also helps is that I'm getting to know the car/track/pod combination. ;)

I also noticed that the handbrake stays on when idle. It is released though when pressing the accelerator (or pressing the handbrake button again of course). Pressing the accelerator and brake pedal at the same time (while standing still) will keep the car from moving from its spot.

In the Bernd Schneider movie we can see that there is a time limit. This is not the case at my local dealer. I looked for a setup menu for options to change this (and possibly other stuff, like damage), but did not find it (not in the PS3's main menu, nor in the in-game menu). :odd:

GT PSP has that too, great little addition.

At last handbrake makes real thing,,
