I'm wondering the same :lol:

It's almost as if any NEW track added to the F1 calender is to be considered a disaster off the bat, without even giving a couple of years to properly get a feel for it 👎 It seems like to a lot of people, history and prestige cloud their perception of the more important things like circuit layout and the spectacle itself. Just my opinion

To be fair, some of the past Tilke circuits have been given a few years and have not improved...Bahrain and Valencia come to mind.
We all looked forward to Valencia being a brilliant track, its layout seemed to be perfect - but it was far from it. It was a bit better for the lower catgories but rubbish for F1.
 
Some new footage taken under moonlight with the lights on around the track. The circuit is a really a trip to see under the lights 👍

Apparently he can. Jon Noble did a really good write-up of his experiences in the passenger seat with Martin Brundle for Autosport - it's the main story as of about three hours ago - and he said he could see plenty when he moved his head from side to side.
 
Pardon the double-post, but more good news for Yas Marina: David Coulthard has driven it and likes it.
