In a first person shooter, is the single player story mode more important to you, or do you play them for the multiplayer aspect? You really have to take all things in to account on this.
Great games like Half-Life and Quake 2 ... even the original Unreal have excellent stories to back up really great game play. That's the reason I play them.
But other games like Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament that don't have story mode at all are so much fun to go blasting your friends' heads off with.
So what's the big deal with FPS and you? What style do you enjoy more?
