So picked this up on Saturday and took me 4 hours and lots of choice words to put together! Having everything done with many adjustments in the brakes etc and rhen realizing after tightening that I hadn’t attached the brake to the accelerator was a low point 😞

So set up is

Playseat Trophy
RS50 Wheel
RS50 Pedals

With how long it took me to set up, I’m a bit loathe to start making lots of changes so wanted some advice on if Ive got anything glaringly wrong?

I’ve flipped the wheel plate and have the seat between M and L as I was shocked that at 195cm L was too far away.

Feels like maybe I’m reaching a bit for the steering wheel?

Thanks everyone, loving the rig and reading through here really helped!

Only you can tell :D
Take a few laps for initial feeling, and then do some longer session where you sit/race for 15+ minutes.
When I setup my current rig the first feeling was great, but longer sessions were terrible for the (lower) back.

Like i386 said it's what feels best for you. If it was me I would try moving the wheel bracket 180 (if it would get wheel closer without losing support) as it looks like you may be banging your knees on frame. Another thing dump the socks I drive barefoot I have a G29 wheel I placed bathtub anti-slip sticky strips on gas and brake pedals so feet don't slide off pedals. I also screwed piece of carpet in front of pedals for my heels. I do have neuropathy in my feet so I did this to help. Something else when you decide to change rigs remember one important thing find one that's easy to get into and more importantly that you can get out of because one day you'll be old. This from the crazy opelgt1969 guy who's 69 years old.
