First Standard to Receive new Rims?

The first car was a Civic SirII 95, after a few hours I have changed close to 50 sets of rims. Man this has given many cars a new lease of life!

My first standard to be pimp'd with new wheels:

I can't believe people have exulted in being able to change wheel rims on standard cars? Who looks at wheels when smashing around the Ring? This part of the update is at best a daft wee detail that might alleviate the boredom when waiting for another update but not the kind of fireworks that i've seen in the past few days.
Also, modern rims look horrific on beautiful classic cars.

The sounds on the other hand are blinding!!!!! (or deafening, which ever adjective you prefer?)

1) As you can see, other people like to watch replays of their races/drives and take photos of their cars. This update is very important to these people. Calling it a "daft" update is a bit much.

2) Agreed about the classic cars.

Wow! That RUF looks magnificent! :D

On topic: My first car to receive new shoes was the XJ220 :sly:... I hate his stardard ones!!!

Is it me or do the standards look much better quality now?

I've always had the theory that any given car (in game or in real life) looks way better with bigger rims... :)

I even bought a AE86 (a car that I absolutely hate) just for the lulz, changed the rims... and I actually liked it! :dunce:

Possibly a tweak in the shader code. I doubt any have recieved new textures. Some looked pretty good before th update as well. Would be great if they were all improved r8 lms racer or r32 s tune quality.

If you do it right the classics with modern rims look great. Pro Touring cars are a class that make modernized muscle cars look amazing

I am 100% certain that the standard cars have received a boost and now look way better.

That old Nissan 280 looks a little better. Check it out in the rim shop. (NISSAN FAIRLADY Z 280Z-L 2SEATER (S130) '78)
