First Vid *UPDATED LINK* (entertaining I promise)

Great video! Nice clean drifts. Smooth 2player drifting 👍 Nice camera angles. Could you tell me how you do it? Take out CD in music video mode right, but how did you control the spin and stop right on the side of the Altezza? and those top views if the s2k,nsx...?

Good stuff mang! I especially like it when you should the RX-7 spinning out and the NSX overtaking him. That was pretty slick. Good camera angles and sweet drifting in general.

The two player stuff was particularly entertaining. Keep it up!

Just watched the vid..... It was a well edited vid (despite the poor quality).... You should definitely get a capture card... It was the best money I ever spent.... I enjoyed the 2 player drifting, you almost achieved some twin drifting a few times.... I wish I had someone near me, that could play GT3, let alone drift....lol....

Anyway, I am very interested in seeing your progress... You seem to have a good grasp of technique (very important)..... There are a few areas where you can still improve....

Choppy countersteer..... Work on smoothing out the countersteer.. If you don't use the analog stick for steering, you should.... It's not only for a more pleasing replay, but smoother countersteering produces smoother drifts, which is infinitely more interesting, and shows great skill.....

Jittery drifts.... This is usually due to a combination of choppy countersteering and wild throttle control..... Throttle control is also quite important.... You just need to keep the revs in the right spot, to keep the wheels spinning... Throttle control, In conjuction with smooth countersteer, produces smooth controlled drifts, which in turn gives you the control needed to achieve bigger angles, and longer drifts.....

It's nice to see some new drifters popping up..... Keep practicing, and you will be a great drifter IMHO....

Thanks for the tips, I'll try to apply them to my next vid.

And what defines twin drifting to you? I thought thats what I was doing, just let me know and I'll try to apply it to my next vid as well. 👍

Twin drifting is when both cars, are exactly parallel (hence the name "Twin" drift).... 2 cars, drifting together, is not necessarily "twin drifting".....

I just don't want people to get it confused....

Twin Drifting rulez! I think it's the best part of drifting. It looks the best in replays and can be the most comical at times. :dopey:
