Try some Dreamtheater then 👍 John Petrucci is outstanding
Jimmy EnslashayThanks for that link, Ceiling. This actually looks like the first, at least decent Top 100 list, although I've only browsed the first 20. I can't believe Floods made it to the Top 20, out of all the Pantera songs, though.
eh?HATEKOREmy top 5 solos go in this order
1. Superjoint ritual - Sickness
2. Superjoint ritual - Deaththreat
3. Superjoint ritual - All Of Our Lives Will Get Tried

I think that you mean Star Spangled BannerJoeythe Jimi National Anthem (Woodstock, day 3) is the best guitar solo ever. otherwise, i don't know.
What!? No Private Investigations? That's their best song!TheWizardThey are both 'live' versions, as you can hear the crowd cheering at the beginning and at the end of the song. I know the 10'56 one is from the Album Alchemy.
I will do some research later today and let you know what Album the 13'12 is from.
Unfortunately I don't have that DVD and I have never heard the version with the Saxophone soloWhich makes me feel kinda disappointed, as I love Saxophone solos (Pink Floyd, anyone?) Both those versions I was referring to, though, do not contain any Sax in them...
EDIT: The 13'12 version is from the Album 'Sultans of Swing: The Very Best of Dire Straits' - the version of the Album with the Bonus Live Disc. The vesion of the song is contained in the Bonus Live Disc. Here are all the songs contained in the Bonus Live Disc:
1) Calling Elvis [Live]
2) Walk of Life [Live]
3) Last Exit to Brooklyn [Live]
4) Romeo and Juliet [Live]
5) Sultans of Swing [Live]
6) Brothers in Arms [Live]
7) Money for Nothing [Live]
The Wizard.
