Mine too, I'm not really a bird.

Shoot. There goes my theory that GTP was an Inter-Species outreach program run by the Korean government.... :ouch:

I actually have an affinity for cars that "suck"

Oh Its great fun, you're going to love it.....

.....OK maybe not, but for me it wasn't as bad as I had worked myself up to think.

Scaff

Okay, this thread is making me wince. :ouch:

 My dad got a vasectomy after my brother 'appeared'. At 7 I didn't quite realise what he meant, I thought they'd shopped off his penis :ouch:

Speaking of, I think you're due Evan.

That's a lot of Lego bricks, he must have a hell of a lot of space to store them. Say the average peice was 1/2 cmx 1/2cm in size, you would need at least 125 meters squared of space to store all thoes, that's bigger than the office building I work in. A lot bigger.

Not if they are all stacked up. ;)

If the average piece of lego were 1 centimeter cubed, you could get 1 million of them in a box of only 1 cubic meter - about the size of a washing machine....

What a lovely discussion on lego were having :)

I doubt their all the same size and weight so I think its impossible to tell how many you have unless you count them.

How do you know that?:odd:

Seriously out of date picture from my loft.

There is an appropriate thread in the hobbies section.

2006 different sizes/shapes in 71 different colours.
It's very helpful having a database of all the sets you own, linked to a website that list the parts in each set.

Chokin', jerkin', whatever, it's still crankin' the monkey.

It's spankin' the monkey dude.

Jeez you guys suck at slang.

1. I procrastinate daily.

2. I am also a fan of tending to myself.

3. I have a girlfriend. We'll see how that goes.

4. I'm not a virgin. I have a vague memory of the night. Pretty sad since your first is supposed to be special. Not proud of it by any means.

5. I have an obsession with reformatting Windows. I especially enjoy the BSOD just so I can say how much Microshaft Windblows.

So, you're 14 years old, and you have a vague memory of the night you lost it. I'm guessing that night occurred when you were 12ish.

Now that's sad.

I was told by my boyfriend - Bee, to post in this thread, so you guys can get to know me.. =]

So hmm here goes?

Numero uno:- I'm a paranoid person. I rather worried sat here right now, that you'll all be laughing at me. No doubt you are, but still..

Numero dos:- I'm a fan of Reality t.v. Sad i know, but i just find so good to see real life people, like me and you on television. =/

Numero tres:- I'm a neat freak, and a clean freak. I need everything to be nice, clean, and tidy. I regularly try to clean my boyfriend's room and sort out all his stuff, but lately i have given up, as he just messes it up so fast! My room on the other hand.. Neat. tidy. Perfect.

Numero cuatro:- I Love school, and although i can't wait to leave the damned place, I’ll miss it just for the pure and simple fact that all my mates are there. So many memories in that one place, some good some bad. But I’ve learnt so much there. Not just education, things in life too.

Numero cinco:- I have a tendency to babble on, as you may have noticed. I like to explain things well, once I’ve started, i don't stop, i can but i don't. Maybe i should be a typist or some sort, but then again i doubt there’s many jobs were all you do is type.. =/

And that, was 5 things you didn't know about moi. =]

We're not laughing at you, Laura, but we may laugh with you. Of course, if you put yourself in a situation to be laughed at, like MachOne does so very often, we may just take advantage of that opportunity.

So I see you've been here for a while, though I haven't seen you around at all. Nice to meet you. Laura.

I still can't see there being over a quarter of a million pieces of Lego there.

That's a lot of Lego bricks, he must have a hell of a lot of space to store them. Say the average peice was 1/2 cm x 1/2cm in size, you would need at least 31.250 meters squared of space to store all thoes, that's bigger than my house in. A lot bigger.
There are smaller pieces than that in Lego sure, but there are bigger pieces than that as well. Even if you quarter that average down to 1/4cm x 1/4cm average piece size (that's 2.5 millimeters x 2.5 millimeters each piece), that's still 15.625m squared of space you need.

As previously mentioned, that photo is seriously out of date. It also only shows the contents of the loft, not the rest of the house.

There are smaller pieces than that in Lego sure, but there are bigger pieces than that as well. Even if you quarter that average down to 1/4cm x 1/4cm average piece size (that's 2.5 millimeters x 2.5 millimeters each piece), that's still 62.5m squared of space you need, which I think would still be bigger than the building I work in.

That is only true if I were to carpet the area in a single layer of bricks. If you were to correct your figures for volume, then you would get a million 1cm x1cm x1cm bricks in one cubic metre.

Your right 👍 I was working it out wrong. I needed to be cubing the figures not sqaring them.

I was working it out wrong in my head, that opinion doesn't stand anymore ;).

My parents are divorced, but I couldn't care less. As far as I'm concerned, I never had a father (DON'T ASK. I will shoot you if you do).

I am underweight (BMI approx 18 - 183cm [6"0'], 60kg).

And there's two more things you didn't know about me. :)
