The other day I was watching the latest Hagerty video about Alpine, and something stuck in my craw...

As the video pulls some quotes from an Autosport review in 1971 about the A110, I became a little confused...

"The roadhandling is so outstanding that is difficult to explain how it has been brought about"

If any of you are like me, your memories of driving this car stock might not inspire the same language. I decided to try my hands at getting this beautiful fiberglass death trap to drive the way those car reviews made it sound.

This A110 tune is wonderful. Eliminates most of the tipsy weight-shift steering wierdness, and provides a ton or trustworthiness in the brakes and throttle.

Lap 2 of the 'Ring (G29/VR) on CS tires was a delight (8:39). It brought a literal smile to my face. You can learn a lot about weight transfer and car control from this car. Try to remember it is a longitudinal (not transverse) and rear-engine (not mid-ship), it does impact the behavior.

Please try it out and let me know your feedback! I might keep tweaking it, but figured I should share while the A110 is still in the used car dealership.
