Flag Rules

Hello!

Is there a chance that flag rules (including yellow, blue, and black) could be included in GT6, utilizing pre-modeled assets?

The pre-modeled assets include the guys waving the checkered flag at the end of the race, and corner workers like in Autumn Ring Mini - they mindlessly hold yellow flags, but never wave them...

It would be an appreciated feature, especially for league hosts and NASCAR/IndyCar stuff.

Edit: please see post #5 for an example of this feature's implementation. This is just an example.

They love to give numorus black flags in 1 lap of their TT's.

I think there is a line where flags would be too complex, ie the white flag means caution slow car on track in FIA races, whilst it simply means final lap in American racing. Basic flags such as yellows would add to the realism (and drive through penalties for overtaking during this zone).

This. I'm not saying that we should make the game 100% accurate regarding flags, 100% of the time, but perhaps a full-course caution during a NASCAR race, or a local caution in GT3 cars... With black flag penalties for overtaking in either situation could be fun.

Bonus points for "jumping" to pit options when full-course caution comes out, allowing drivers to pick what they want... With a "skip to green" button.

Was there not some pictures released/leaked showing a variation of GT5 with a flag system? I seem to remember seeing a R34 GTR with an indicator flashing too.....

Did anyone notice the segment of update 1.09, which updated the start signals?

Would it not be awesome to have a green flag flown by the chequered flag guy (race director?) during rolling starts?

I believe this should be the next step PD take towards integrating the flag rules. :D
