Please ask
I searched both items first. I did find a lot of useful info about each item individually. This is my question. Can you leave the flash drive with your back up save in the PS3 while trying to get the car you want from a specific ticket? I have 5 tickets and there are 5 specific cars I am triyng to get from each ticket.

It seems to me that I sort of remember leaving my flash drive in the PS3 when doing a trade and I "think" that the system tried to save my game data to the flash drive instead of the hard drive. This was from before the original hard drive crashed so my memory is not that clear. It is sort of a pain to keep plugging and unplugging the flash drive because it is close to the floor with a custom fan rig for extra cooling.

Does the system automatically save to the hard drive by default?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

No, it does not save to USB by default. And you don't need to remove your USB.

Edit: Search duping for best results. Pretty sure it explains everything there.

If you don't want to use a USB, then you can press Square to open all tickets, the game doesn't save until you close the window of the car you've gotten, so you can exit the game using the PS Button and enter again with the ticket still there.

@playnthru, thank you for your response. I was up to date on the duping process after reading all there was from an earlier time.

@Hyped, thank you for your response. I saw in a thread about tickets that square would open the ticket but wasn't sure when it said open all of them. If I understand you correctly by hitting square it will show me the cars from each ticket. If one of the cars is one that I am after what do I do about the others?

@Hyped I'll wait for your response about what to do with them all open. I am not in any hurry.

I am happy knowing that I can keep my flash drive installed so if I do one ticket at a time I can still use my back up if I don't get what I am after. I have the list of the tickets so with all of them there aren't that many cars to deal with. Again thanks.

If you open them all and don't get all the cars you want you have to start over. It really only works if you have one ticket. Just do them one at a time and save after you get each car you want.

If you collect cars in green ticket form, then unless the level/year ticket is in the first slot, it would not be nearly as efficient as the USB method because you would have to wait for all the prior tickets to load up. If you have the ticket in the first slot, then you can go ahead and use this method.

I would say, if you have a different item in the first slot of the delivery truck, then you should use the USB method as you won't waste any of the items you don't want to use. I hope I answered your questions. 👍

Yes you did answer my question. You mentioned green tickets but mine are all blue won at seasonal events. I will just do them one at a time since I have the most current save on the flash drive. Again thank you for your informative response.

Also thanks to @santosi7 for your response.
