Hey, all. I've come here with a problem that has no obvious (to me) solution.
I noted this evening that all sites that use a flash player for videos (From Streetfire to Google Video and YouTube, both embedded and on-site) no longer work properly. A video, when played, will start to buffer and play, and pause every 1-3 seconds, even when the buffer is far ahead. I can manually set the seek bar to before or after the place where the video has paused, only to have it pause again between 1 and 3 seconds later. Secondly, the sound no longer works on these same videos.
I have tried the same videos using Windows Media (Works fine, then) where possible (Streetfire), but this is obviously not applicable when it comes to Google Video and YouTube.
I can't think of anything I did to cause this, as the only thing I can think of that possibly involves video stuff is delete my cookies/Temp. Internet Files. I'm running Flash Player 8, on IE6. Nothing out of the ordinary, there. I've got the volume turned on and up, as I'm listening to music right now. I've got sounds and videos enabled for IE6.
Anyone have any ideas as to what could possibly be wrong??
