Flight stick question

Sorry I didn't know where to post this but, seeing this pertains to the PS3, I'll post this here. Does the PS2 Hori Flight Stick from AC5 and the X52 work on the PS3? I know the X52 can navigate the PS3's home page (I think it's called the XBM) but, does it work in games? I don't have any games to try it on so.... I also read on here somewhere that Hori stick didn't work for HAWX but I don't remember if they were using the 360's Hori controller or the PS2's. Anyways, I'm trying to gear up for 'IL-2 Birds of Prey' and seeing that I've got both sticks it'd by nice to use them (maybe let my brother use the other).

No, the most epic flight stick ever doesn't quite work with the PS3. Once connected, the PS3 displays a "Unknown USB device" notification. I'm not sure about the X52, but the AC5 Hori sticks do not work with HAWX or the PS3 in general.

yeah it works it is the one I use.

Unfortunately HAWX does not allow custom controls though so you are stuck with the default settings.

Yeaj i agree with that. I hope an Ace Combat comes on PS3 soon.
