On youtube I saw a guy flip and roll his SAmba bus on Daytona by itself. He would keep feinting and it would go on two wheels (type GT5 samba bus roll over). I want to know what settings are necessary to get the vehicle to act like in his video. I have fully upgraded the car and can only figure that the ride height is maxed out. Please help

I've never tried this before, but put the ride height for the one side up, and leave the other one as it is.

This is done by adding extreme amounts of camber and/or toe, can't remember which. I was bored one day and was messing around with extreme settings on different cars at Daytona. I was able to roll just about any car I got into going down the backstretch flipping the wheel back and forth with the extreme camber/toe settings. By extreme, I mean maxed out. Hope this helps.

There is a special trick to flipping a tall car.

As well as the usual high ride height and camber settings, you have to turn off all assists except for Skid Recovery. This HAS to be on for it to work properly.

Now, once you have done that, drive to a good speed and hit the handbrake to go sideways. Now hit the accelerator hard and the car will do an insane flip and roll.

This was how I did this:

Funny gif  . Thanks for telling me that. I only had ABS on when I attempted.

Thanks to everyone else too. I will work on it today and see what happens

Not true about Skid Recovery. All my assists were off, that I do know for sure. With my camber settings, all I did was start flipping the wheel back and forth a few times and presto, flipping down the backstretch. So no, SR does NOT have to be on.

this was the video I saw

@Astro: I tried the handbrake and power technique and it worked pretty well. I didn't roll but it would go up on 2 wheels and roll around.

edit: Tried using racing soft tyres and its working really well! Not as good as the video but after a couple feints I can get on 2 wheels and when I use the handbrake I flip it

I can't get it to work without it on. There just isn't enough grip. The car just goes onto two wheels and won't roll.

Then your doing something wrong then. I don't drive with any assists and never have therefor I know for a fact SR was not on plus I just went back and did it again just to make sure. I just flipped a NASCAR car, a Chevelle, the Samba, and a Pontiac Tempest with no SR. At Daytona, down the backstretch at full speed doing it just how I described. If your way works, thats cool but SR does not need to be on.

EDIT; I was using racing soft tires, if that helps.

I tried it with SR off this time and works better as the tyres spin and bumps the bus around more making it tip

Just like I said. This can be entertaining for awhile, lol, but then I got bored with it. If I had a way to record some of my flips, I would as some of them were quite wild. Anyway, have fun with it!!

Well, I did some tests with my method on the Samba and it worked out quite well :)

As a bonus, I managed to pull a wheelie by accident lol

Thats cool. Like I said before, whatever works for you but no need in giving people false information about the SR needing to be on in order to do this. Simpy not true. Have fun.

Also remember that since online physics are different, it won't work in a lobby/lounge. I can get a car to tip on 2 wheels online, but nobody else can see it happening.

Another fun one is to get a light FF car and do reverse wheelies in it...

Well, I tried it with SR disabled and it wouldn't flip, so It's not what I'd call "False information" :/. That's why I said to enable it in my guide (Which the OP asked for)

Flipping Samba. Serious business.

In fairness it wasn't "false information", it was the setup Astro-Racer used to get the flips, which he chose to share, and his setup necessitates having SR on.

So there are other setups too, that's cool, but no need to call him out over that.

Apparently so, who knew?

Relax. I wasn't calling him out. He stated that SR NEEDED to be on in order to get the vehicle to flip. It does not, not the way I explained it. In any case, no need to make a big deal out of it as I said, if his way works, cool. My way, SR is not needed. Now go play and have fun.

I'm so relaxed i'm horizontal. You're the one who came over a little passive-aggressive my friend. Anyway peace, all is well :)

Really. Well, if that was aggressive for you, you had better get thicker skin. Didn't mean to hurt your little bitty feelings, lol.
