A feeder series of the Flyin' Miata Super Cup
Welcome to the all new Flyin' Miata Saturday EuroLeague!
This is, as the name would suggest, a Saturday version of the hugely popular Flyin' Miata Super Cup, hosted by R1600Turbo. However, the times have been put back to make it Euro friendly, as the name also suggests. This doesn't mean you have to be from Europe to compete though - the times are still relatively friendly to North America. This will also take up the majority of racing for the FMSC throughout the summer, after the postponing of the registrations for the full version until late October.
The news board will be located here for important notices. Information you need will be further down the page.

We will be using the specs from the Flyin' Miata Super Cup for this championship, as well as the rules. Click on the links for the respective information.
Rules
Practice Room Format:
Anyone that is on the current registration list is allowed to open a practice room, as long as there is not already one open. It is highly recommended that you create the room as a Fixed Host so that when you leave random people that are not part of the series do not take over the room. If others want to keep practicing, they can open a new room using these same rules.
Practice room settings are as follows:
- 396pp limit, Sport Medium tires
- All aids OFF except for ABS
- Grip Reduction set to REAL
- Penalties OFF
- Damage LIGHT
Qualifying:
One or two (depending on track size) chosen drivers go out one at a time to attempt a 2-lap qualifying run. When the qualifying session begins on track, one driver will be chosen to start their out lap first and the second driver will be told to hold on the line for 20 seconds until they can start.
All other visitors in the room will be watching the driver(s) to make sure their laps are clean. The room will be set to a 4 lap race. Only laps 2 and 3 will count as qualifying "flying lap" times. All drivers are allowed to attend both qualifying sessions, but can only make one qualifying attempt.
- Fastest lap from each driver will determine starting position
- Top 16 qualifiers race on Saturday
- If you cannot make an official qualifying session, send me a PM beforehand
- Please refrain from microphone usage or messaging while someone is qualifying
Drivers that do not attempt a qualifying run during the week leading up to the current race will not be allowed to race on Saturday. The exception to this rule is a driver who, leading up to said race, is ranked 1 thru 5 in the championship points. That driver will then grid at the rear of the field for the start of the race.
The top 16 Qualifiers after all qualifying sessions will race in the main event on Saturday evening. Those drivers who did not complete a fast enough qualifying time to compete in the Flyin' Miata Super Cup race will sit out the race.
To grid the cars at the beginning of the race, the race steward will call each drivers PSN name in the exact order qualified. One at a time, each driver will line up on a chosen straight away on the track, in order of their qualifying position. The room will be set to grid drivers according to the "fastest first" option. Once the race steward starts the race with all drivers parked in qualifying order, the game will put everyone in that identical order on the starting grid.
- Races will be held Sunday nights at 8:00PM EDT. Room opens at 7:00PM EDT
- Open practice is allowed upon entry. Grid placement starts at 7:50PM EDT
- False starts will be turned ON
- Microphones are not allowed during the race, please turn them OFF
- Drivers are highly encouraged to race CLEAN
- If you have a problem with another driver, please send them a PM on GTP
- A mandatory mid-race pit stop is required
Drivers that disconnect from the room will be marked with a DNF and will be issued points based on their order of race exit. Example; Driver A disconnects first, they will receive points equivalent to last place, etc. If a driver feels the need to quit the race, they will be required to remain in the race lobby until the finish of the race to earn points based on their order of race exit. If said driver quits race lobby, they will forfeit those points and will receive zero points for the race. Quitting the race and parking your car on the side of the race track is distracting to other drivers, and is strictly prohibited.

Feel free to ask any other questions in this thread.
As with the original FMSC, all information in the post is for FMSC use only. I myself have been given permission to start the series using the rules through R1600Turbo. If you wish to use any layouts of his, then contact him to let him know or it will be considered stealing and will result in a report.
