So, does anyone have a setup I could try of the Hommell? Ive been driving it for a while and Im trying to get a faster time than the Elise RM on Tsukuba.
 
Oh man, why didn't you get yours in Bleu Metalise? With that paint it would look...well, still pretty flat actually. But it would look better than that minging yellow.

Here you are, M8. Right now my car is running at 316hp and 845kg. All modifications have been purchased and used for this tune, including racing soft tires, chassis reinforcement, etc. The whole bag.

Aero: NA/20
Trans: 168mph
LSD: 10/25/10
Height: -18/-15
Spring: 8.7/10.0
Ext: 4/5
Com: 4/5
Roll: 4/4
Camb: -1.8/-0.8
Toe: 0.00/0.20
Brakes: 3/1 (personal preference)

(Come to think of it, this car drives so well I didn't really even mess with the camber and toe settings.)


To each his own. I'm not the master tuner just yet, but I find this setup to work really well for this car, and I have no problems winning races with it in online or offline events.

Curious if you tried the tune or not.
 
the hommell is my B-spec car. a bit too tail happy for my dumb BOBs but they can squeak out a win with it
 
The Hommell is a solid car. I used it in the French Championship because I didn't want to waste money on a bland FF Citroen hatchback or something, and it grew on me. I didn't tune it very much but I can definitely see the similarities to an Elise; they both have that little rear end kick coming out of a corner.

Have to agree that the yellow is ugly though. I used a dark blue paint chip on mine.
 
Well, have only used it a couple of times, didn't really have a need for it.
I wonder, wasn't this the car that was used as an example of the fact that some standard cars were really not up to scratch?.
 
If your doing a pocket rocket showdown give the Autobacs Garaiya 02 a chance..I get some strong times with this car, beating the Hommell and handling better imo at 250 BHP :)
 
Wow, out of the box it has my vote for the most craptastic car in the game. It's slow AND uncontrollable. I'll have to take your word for it that it improves with tuning and upgrades...
