For running "Fastest Laps" for submission, what mode are they run?

More specifically for a GT Simulation mode, are times determined during "in-race laps", where there is tire damage, or in "Practice" mode, no tire damage?

I think you race in Arcade mode, under Single Player, or Time Trial, but I am not sure.

Since it says Simulation mode, I believe the times are supposed to be from practicing in GT mode. Plus, the setup options are not available in Arcade Mode.

i'd say it would have to be in a mode with no tyre damage because people are recording times on quali tyres, there is no chance of making it around the nurburgring on quali's!

Got it. I guess now I have to go buy a "Shark Port"? So I can submit a "replay"? Screen shots aren't used for verification looks like.

You can use a max drive to submit replays too.

A screenshot only verifies the time though, while showing the replay proves that the lap was clean.

I'm completely n00b at this thing
I submitted a few times myself, I only have screenshots since I don't know how to put some replay up here
and the passcode for the time is useless since there is still no official statement about those passcodes

The Sharkport is no longer easily available. You should look for an Action Replay Max Drive
