For Those cycleing for the Formula GT...

Im looking for my formula GT for 2 days now.. after every race.. grrr.. this is not right... i ve never ever seen it... Im checking used cars alot.. lol wtf...
 
The hardest part of doing this is that you have over 4,800,000cr in your bank and you keep seeing sweet cars that you want but don't have... I haven't been too great at resisting the temptation of buying a few, like a Peugeot 205 T16, a few Rufs here and there, an Evo IV rally car... Yeah, it's tough!
 
Worst part is I saw it YESTERDAY, first time too, a blue Formula GT all that stood in the way of me buying it was me beeing Cr 3,000,000 too poor to buy IT!

I'm on Level 25 now and the wait begins again.
 
Sweet, just got it! Only started looking last night at around 2am, then after 3 hours of looking today, I got it with 4,524.9 miles (7,282.12km) on it.

If you haven't got it yet, be warned that it costs just over 4,800,000 so you might want to make sure you have at least 4,900,000, you need 500,000 to rebuild the engine and 500,000 to straighten the chassis. You can buy the chassis strengthening and any set of tyres you like (it comes with Racing hards).

This is absolutely ridiculous. :grumpy: I have a job and kids. Gaming time for me is very difficult to get and precious. So, not only do I have to grind enough to earn ~6mil credits, but also have to wait for it to show up and not miss. :mad:

I might just have to give up on completing this event.

Unfortunately more d******t to go with the rest.

I haven't seen that freakin car since I've been playing the game.
At level 26 and still counting.
 
It's ridiculous, we should at least be able to buy the car ... I'm up to that point now and I really can't be bothered!
 
I was just about to give up.
9 cycles, and it showed up on the bottom of the page.
I had to keep a note pad, to make sure I only did 5 at a time.
would have been really pissed up I went past it.

With me, it came up right after the R8.
 
I'm currently cycling through the practice course (I know use the license test 1-5 tried hasnt worked just trying something else to see if it works might as well) to get my FGT. But I have a question, What level do you have to be for it to unlock I'm a 22 A and 24 B, anybody know?
 
You don't have to be a level to unlock, but a level of 24 (either A- OR B-Spec) is needed to be able to buy it. It's totally random when the FGT will appear, and if you aren't 24/don't have 4.8m have fun cycling for hours again ^^

well I got 10 Million so I gots the Money. Hopefully she appears.

I use the beginner track because it is the fastest to get to and they are small and do load quicker. Since I have the money saved up I do this when I am bored, I actually have my girlfriend doing this for me right now..LOL

i´m racing the indy at like the wind at the moment to get the money.
i´ll race it again and again untill the fomula gt is at the gerage

it comes at the 200th race day right?

at the moment its my 277th raceday /77th because of the cycle

i´ve got 2,7mio already and revieve ervery race 70.000

when the formula gt arrives i´ll have 11.100.000

so i can buy any nice car i see^^

i also get 3500exp for any race so i´ll have 420.000exp and with the threat "XP Required For Each Level" ( https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=137162 ) i can calculate that i´ll be around lvl25 when i´m ready and then i´ll be also ready for endurance races

my favourite type of race you´ll alredy have guessed ^^

The fastest way (or atleast a very fast way, that I used) is just going into B-1 license test. Then "arrow" through B-2 - B-5 without driving them.

There you go, 30 new cars in your used car dealership :sly:

BTW ReventonX1 do the american championship oval race instead. if you use the GT you get from the PD cup it wins easily and you get $98,000 5000xp a race
 
I've done a search and I can't find the original post about this car showing up atround day 400...I'm tired of looking so thought I'd post up what day mine showed in lot.I didn't have money first time it showed and think it was around day 400 but got mine on day 746 if that helps anybody.

and what is the pd cup?
is it the polyphony digital cup?

i´m from germany and the races are mostly called diffrent in german ^^

EDIT:
i noticed that i won a nissan 350Z gran tourismo at the polyphony digital cup...
i don´t think i can use this on at the american race...^^

and im also lvl22 and need 60.000exp more to get to lvl23 to be able to race this race ^^

Did the b3-b5 trick and after abour 45min browsing before bed and 20minutes in the morning an FGT appeared, blue and with 4500km on it, didnt even have to fix the engine, with an oilchange it was maxed out :D

Can use the formula at american championship.It's japanese in my game.I use the ZR1 RM....5 races first thing in the morn everyday...that way it doesn't get too old.

Take your girlfriend/wife to a couple of classic auto shows and you'll make a car fan out of them in no time. Mine absolutely loves the older cars in the game and real life.
 
Omg.... after 3 1/2 hours of doing the licenses "next" stuff 5 times and checking the lot (and continue to do that lol) while reading a magazine i said to myself while continuing to licence B-5: "Ok this is the last time, its waaay past bedtime (3.38am)"

Guess what popped up in the used car lot..... WOEI lol.
 
Ugh... I'm Level 23 (halfway to Level 24), I have 2.8 million credits, and guess what just appeared in my used car list for the first time. I still have some grinding yet to go but I'm not looking forward to the mind-numbing trips through the license test I'm going to have to do to get that to appear again when I do have the money.
 
B-Spec and the Used Car lot are two absolutely terrible implementations in this game. Having to wait on this Formula Gran Turismo to show up is just a moronic idea.

Well the idea is good.... But having a championsihp featuring a car that only appears in the used car lot really rarely......
