Most sites promise day of release delivery, meaning they dispatch/send it off a couple days before release. Amazon in the UK certainly do, with all their pre-orders.

I got GT5 the day before it was released, ordered from Amazon UK. I believe they did get into some hot water for doing that with GTA V though

really? day of release? i like the sounds of that. i pre-ordered with gamestop / ebgames (canada) which would mean they'd have to get the game a few days before the release date.

Well obviously every shop gets it delivered a few days in advance, so yeah you should get it day 1.

All the games I've ever pre-ordered were day 1, but that's amazon.

ShopTo are the best when it comes to delivery. 9/10 times you'll get an item a day early.

Sadly, they havn't got the cheapest prices anymore. GreenmanGaming £35 at the moment for me.

I usually pre-order for pick up at gamestop since I can get it a bit earlier in the day than if it was shipped.
My brother pre-orders from Amazon and usually gets the game on the release day

I got gt5 a day before it was released (pickup from a store). Can't remember which one. I preordered at two different stores and decided based on who was first.
