Does having FF in game on consoles take up memory.
Basically the more FF and different subtle effects add strain to the hardware and limitations on consoles.

Sorry I'm not a tech guy but I have a theory about how we get short changed. I'm sure people here will know.

I'm guessing it must do as the engine would be more complex.

Yes I think so too.
I was just musing about how Wheel users get stitched up after patches.

F1 when released had great FF. a patch was released with no FF issues registered by users. I think it was to do with a pit bug or something similar. Anyhow after the patch the FF had less effects.

Shift 2 was the same. I've read that after one of GT5 patches people are noticing less effects.

Seeing as wheel users are less than 1% of the total user base. I was thinking that because they have already reached the top of their limitations, it's easier to steal some memory back from the FF effects.

Any other games out there that have had detrimental FF changes after patches?
Just seems odd that a feature that was good gets crippled when no one complained about it.

That's all.
