The paddles are L1 and R1 (or is it L3 and R3?)
I know for sure R3 is the stick though so if you want to put the stick back to being the shifter use that. I'm pretty sure the paddles are L1 and R1 though. My PS2 broke last week so I haven't played, that's why I'm not 100% positive. But anyway, I hope this helped

I'm not saying you're wrong Darin but when I set shift up to R3 it made the shift knob the shifter (it could be possible that both button assignments would work), however, I can't try it out because my PS2 is getting serviced, so if you have the wheel and you can check it out for me/us that would be cool. I have the Japanese version of GT3 and the Logitech GT Force Pro and on the default setting the paddles change gear and the shifter does absolutely nothing
