Forced incar view

Oh, another thing that would be more or less required with forced cockpit view is the ability to set your seat position, as some have said the default is a little too low, and with some cars it's far too close to the dashboard. In some cars you can see the bottom of the steering wheel, in others you can see a 45 degree section of the top of it... I think the Cooper S was one that struck me as being way too close.
 
I can't stand certain rally cars that cut off the top portion of the window. When your going up the slightest hill its like a guessing game as to which way the track is going to turn.

As far as the most realistic view I would definitely vote for cockpit. But when it comes to drifting, I NEED the classic chase cam.

I really don't see the point in this, if someone is a good driver they'll be just as fast in any view. I use the bumper cam for the main reason of being able to see the cars around me. The cock-pit view has some major problems it just doesn't give you the same view you would have in a real car ie ( being able to move your mirror's,seat and your head). So when I'm in cock-pit view online I just cause more crashes due to lack of vision, but If I'm driving solo I'll be just as fast as I would be with bumper cam.
But TBH the more options online the better just can't see why this one is on the list
 
I love this idea, anyone who says cars with different visibilities have an unfair advantage, so do real cars.

I wish for all to experience the eau Rouge in the Caterham's cockpit, it's amazing if you tune it (power and transmission so you can accelerate).
 
This is a great idea. It isn't an unfair advantage if it's a restriction. It's not like out of nowhere, cockpit view would be the only view to use.

As for the rain when people are using standard cars, there are ways around that. Exceptions and workarounds are possible.

Inside veiw has its faults, but IMO a host should be able too make his own rules. Too be honest I am really suprised PD have not made it posssible to force ABS-0, chance of forced inside veiw is coming before forced ABS-0 is pretty slim... More options is always better IMO.

Bottom-line: More options/settings in GT5's offline and online are needed.

People treating the OP's idea like it's a joke should be looking at the bigger picture.
 


In car view with look to apex. How epic it would be. :)
