Excuse me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Hummer (all variants) well and truly dead?

Yes.

And you actually cannot order the Ram Runner from Dodge completely built. You have to order the parts from Mopar and either do it yourself of have a shop do it.

The Raptor is the only pre-built truck of it's kind right now. And makes an excellent choice for the border patrol and the security at Area 51.

I don't see GM or Chrysler making anything similar. They have the "Ram Runner" thing at Dodge, but you have to build the truck yourself.

The Ram Runner is, if I remember correctly, a vehicle that's backed by a warranty through Mopar, which isn't an entirely dumb idea.

GM was thinking that they wanted to do a Raptor competitor through GMC, powered by the Duramax diesel. It would be different, that's for sure. But, they haven't committed to it yet. My guess is that its a cost of entry thing, and furthermore, I don't know if it would really sell better as a GMC compared to a Chevrolet.

Power wagon is good for climbing things, not so much high speed.

The Ram Runner doesn't count for me, since you can't drive to your local dealer and drive one off the lot.

Hey look a Raptor thread, good place to put this video of Tanner Foust driving the truck around the Ring.

If you tried to recreate that in Forza, you would flip 37 times.

Pretty cool video, though. Was that something for Top Gear, or purely a Ford thing?

I thought it was for Top Gear, but it looks like it might just be a Ford thing.
