Anybody have a tune for the Ford GT LM race car I can't seem to find one that works

Try a search theres a really good one in here somewhere.

Try looking at the stickies.

Theres a thread called every tune on GTP and there is a GT LM tune in there.

I'm sure he's tried other tunes as he said "looking for a tune that works."

Maybe you guys should post when you have relevant advice rather than pointing to a sticky everybody already knows about.

well maybe he should state what he's tried, giving the tune directory location is relevant advice as you'll be surprised on what people miss 💡

I tried searching to the best of my ability and didn't even find a tune for the GT LM (non-Spec II). Am I missing something? It's probably similar to the Spec II setup, but has to be different because of the Spec II's big wing.

Right here bro:

And a review of it:
Took it for a spin today at Deep Forest online, extremely safe and easy to drive, highly recommended to those looking to drive the GT for the first time, or for people like me, who gave up on the car because it was just too out of control. SpitRacer has done a great job making a very user friendly version of the car.
Full comparison here: Adrenaline Tune Reviews.

Thanks...but isn't yours the "Spec II" version? Mine is the plain "Ford GT LM Race Car" in the light blue Gulf livery, minus the big wing. I did try the setup, and it definitely helped.

According to the "Every GTPlanet Tune That Exists" thread (https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=198751), a tune for the regular Ford GT LM may not exist on this messageboard....

Not that I've found, but my database only goes back to February 7th, so there's 3 months potential via search. Have you tried any of the Spec II tunes to see how they transfer? Personally I felt the LM Race Car was the most tail happy, despite still having the 'supposedly' same rear downforce as both other versions.

Are you referring to the '69 GT-40?
Because the one I linked is the LM race car. With any luck I will be able to convince 200MphFord to give up his GT-40 set up because it really is brilliant.

The one you linked is not the LM Race car, it's the LM Race Car Spec II.
The one he is referencing is just the LM Race Car. It's the new GT body style, with the 69 paint scheme. #4 as dropsonde mentioned.

??
I haven't seen a GT with the Gulf paint other than the 69?

How do you get one of these? It UCD?

If your lucky it'll pop up in UCD for around 2.5 mil, otherwise roll the dice with a high level prize ticket

I think MFT have one.........

mine randomly popped up in the UCD. had to have it! fun car but oversteer & wheelspin plague it. top speed isn't the greatest either

and no there are no tunes for the blue version. tried a few spec II/test car tunes but they don't transfer too well. car is beast

Yes, I got mine from the UCD. Apparently it's fairly rare. Definitely tail-happy, but it sure is beautiful.
