Ok, I've been searching for this car for so long, I'm starting to wonder if it even exists. I own every other car, yet for the last two months I haven't seen this come up once. I have even been power cycling the UCD (i.e. Using the license test trick) on a regular basis and yet I still haven't seen it.

Just so you know, here is a list of the cars I'm not talking about:

Ford GT '05
Ford GT (No Stripe) '05
Ford GT40 Race Car '69
Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II.

I mean the Ford GT LM Race Car. I just can't find it. If anyone has it, please tell me that it IS out there so I can keep looking...
 
Yeah its there (assuming you mean the one that is in gulf colours but a modern GT), and there is also the GT '02 which has goodyear written in white on the tires to add to your cars that your not looking for :sly: 👍

That's weird, I've ticked the GT '02 off on my mygranturismo.net garage, but I don't appear to have it. Great. What I don't get is that I found every other car I needed very quickly, and they were all 2.5 million credits and up. And yeah, I do mean that gulf coloured GT, I just did the Indy race in the American Championship and there were two in that race, I had forgotten they were in there.

That has never worked for me, I'm on the 3,301st game day and when I first heard about that site I was on something like 1,500... I've never been able to get a match for any car, and given that it was last updated in May, I'll probably never be able to use it, which is a shame because I bet it's really useful.

Exactly what I was looking for. I've never seen one in my UCD. (Used Car Database didn't work for me either.) That's why I decided to go farm some level 21 tickets. And after about 4 hours, I finally got it. I feel your pain. :(

How do you farm level 21 tickets?



I've had the same problem trying to find a lister storm ........ Probably one, if not the last important/rare car i've to collect
 
It shows up periodically at the UCD and completely depends on luck, keep passing on the list. Or Hot car dealership will be a big help in seaching for the particular one wanted for a long time.

Since you are both in uncharted territory of the UCD database, have you considered contributing? We need all the help we can get!
 
That one took a long time to pop for me too. I'm surprised it hasn't been in the OCD either.

When I first saw it in Like The Wind I thought it was a GT40. But it was way too fast to be a GT40.

Yep, I would. But I don't exactly know how to add to the database, and I don't really have enough time to mark down each UCD cycle I see.

Enter a career event, my preference is B-Spec Sunday Cup Autumn Ring (uncomplicated track with only 8 field positions = fast load) with my first slot driver available, and then start and quit the RACE (not the event) 5 times (not simply restart). I like B-Spec because I can simply use "x" to start the race and then "circle, x, x" to quit it, rather than pressing start and moving the cursor. Anyway, starting and quitting the race 5 times will refresh the entire UCD. Good luck hunting.

but dont worry im sure u will get it soon or find it in the used cars dealership or somthing.

Too bad it's not tradable, I have two of them, and I'd happily give you one. I guess you'll have to keep trading for tickets and scanning the UCD.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to do that as soon as I win a L21 ticket with my GTP account, which should be soon. I've been cycling the UCD for hours now, in total I mean, I'd guess and say I've been doing it for 6 hours... I know that because it's all I do when I use my exercise bike, somehow doing two boring things at once completely cancels out the boredom!

I'd do that, if I knew how. Let me know and I'll try to contribute what I can, but I don't intend to map out every single day from now on or anything. I'd be happy to help someone else out, though.

I think you're thinking of the GT40, not the GT, or maybe you got it from a ticket. I've done all the races so I know for a fact it's not a prize car!


Seriously though, I found so many expensive cars in such a short space of time that I thought the GT LM was right around the corner, but no, there's been no sign of it. I've checked the UCD every single in-game day since the start of August, if not before, and there's been no sign of it whatsoever. As someone else said, I can't believe it hasn't been in the OCD in all this time, either. I've been looking for it for months, maybe even as far back as May... I'm pretty sure that's when I decided to buy everything. I might tweet Kazunori and request it in the next OCD update!

I wouldn't say it's off topic, as you say, I had no idea this was even a thing before this and it would help avoid people asking questions like this in future, so why not?

Thanks for letting me know about that, I fully intend to help out. At what point does the database get a bit patchy? Before 3,000 days or after? Oh yeah, I should point out that I'm not being really lazy or anything, it's just that I'm about to get away from my computer to do some of that sleeping thing so I can't check it out for myself right now.
 
Well, list #1 goes to day 3294 for now, but with many gaps still to be filled, the major one being between days 1286 and 2551. List #2 goes to day 3481, with someone already working in that area, I believe, but also has gaps along the way.

Of course your game day might not coincide exactly with the game day from either list, but there is an easy way to find out what your offset is.
 
I have two of them, they are pretty slow to come up, think I have all the Ford race cars now. And I another one when I accidentally deleted a game save :dopey::drool::dunce:

it's in the level 22 ticket. there are only 5 cars on that tickt so chances are good you will get it. try that.
