I have been saving for what seems like ages (keep buying other cars) for this car.

It looks great but is it worth getting for 3.6m credits?

I have the standard version, is it much better (faster?/handling?) than this?

I don't use cockpit so thats not going to factor in.

How does it do in PP races, faster than GT-R LM Concept?
 
Well it is quite possibly the fastest non LMP/C class racing car in the game. Definitely worth the money. Feels even better to drive then the Standard Versions. Plus it can be tuned to over 800 bhp. Definitely go for it.
 
Only the group C and LMP can beat it on a curcuit and not allways then. One of the very best in the game, very low 6's on the ring.

Borrowed a friends, 6,17 on ring 590hp

Standard car 6,17 too but 627bhp

Could improve with both.

Such a hard decision, I'm up to 3m credit, the most I've ever had at one time!

Nice to drive though.
 
Just bought it. Definitely worth the money. Fully tuned it's slightly better than my '09 vette RM fully tuned, IMO.

It's premium, 3.6 million credits, unpainted carbon fiber (like a stealth model) and it is the best performing Ford GT in the game. I saved up for it (took a while) and I recommend doing the same if you like the Ford GT. Someone earlier confused it with the Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II, a standard racing Ford GT won in the A-Spec Dream Car Championship.

There is also a Ford GT LM Race Car, a standard modern Ford GT race car based on the '69 Ford GT40 that won at 24 hours of Le Mans. People commonly confuse the two.

I've enjoyed the Spec II since Prologue. When I win the Powerball, I'm building one!!!
 
It's definitely worth the money. Super-quick steering, easy control, grand acceleration, great looking in carbon, nice top speed. It's better than the ZR1 RM!:sly:

It only suffers in really hard corners(last corner in Tokyo Route, etc.):ouch:

I have it, as well as the other Ford GT's. It was the last one I got, but it should have been the first. It is the fastest non-racing car I have, and can blow away the McLaren F-1 on the Supercar Seasonal. Use it to "grind" the Eifel race and get that 3.6 back in no time.
 
I have it and I love it definately worth the money, I think the zonda R fully turned is slightly faster in my experience. It like everyone says is the fastest ford gt.
 
I have the white one, love it for Extreme American INDY. Pedal to the metal all the way and no brakes..3:40?? in five laps..but that's all I use it for.
 
I have all of the Ford cars, this one is the best of them all and one of the best in the game. You won't regret spending for it, plus it looks sooo cool!
 
Like the first poster said, fastest non-LMP in the game. Also the most stable. You'll win ANY race with it. Buy it!

I saw and bought the "Ford GT 02" for almost 1,000,000 recently. I only bought it because . . . I could. White with two black stripes.

Why is it so much money/credits though?

I haven't done anything with it yet. I have more Ford GT's than almost any other car type. I think the S2000 is close, maybe more :)

Anyone got any tuning tips, I have lowered ride height to -8 both ends and LSD right down to 5 on initial and accel with decel up to 40!

Very good on Fuji F where I tested it!
 
I can't buy this car!? Everone says it is supposed to be a premium car, even mygranturismo lists it as premium. So it should be in the New car Dealerships...
Nothing there.
I searched the forums, but no hint where to get it.

It's under the Gran Turismo dealership. It's almost all the way to the right in the New Car Dealership.

I too wanna buy this car so bad, but I only have about 7 mil credits and I'm waiting for certain cars to pop up in the UCD. I know that as soon as I buy it, all of the cars that I want will pop up on the same day.:scared:
