I would love all the touring car liveries, also with the larger 'box' wheel arches (see blue car in OP)

But the road car and base model would keep me happy.

A livery editor would solve the issues and make the base model all that is needed.

I hope they go for the standard roadgoing version as priority if they'd make this car, with the rally/race version as an extra. Too much flashiness spoils the natural looks :)

There is a thread for the sapphire aswell fella.

A lot of old school racing series fans I see we have here. I don't even know why this ordinary looking car got so many votes. :P

Yes the Sierra Cosworth would be a great addition as would a lot of other old British cars, Capri, mk1/mk2 Escort, Lotus Cortina, and Vauxhall Manta, GTE, Nova.
It seems British classics have been largely overlooked yet these where some of the most successful cars in motoring history.
Come on Polyphony, Sort it out!

This. ^^

PD have only included a few of the iconic British ROAD cars, AC Cobra, E-Type a few from Lotus, the Mini and one or two more. They are all sports classics, most from the 1960's. Other countries have had many more road cars from the '70s and '80s included, hatchbacks, coupes and saloons, because they are great cars. British cars have been greatly overlooked.

Yes true but these Car's were designed, built and sold in Britain for the British market so in my mind they are British classics NOT American.

Yes, but I'm fairly sure (although not 100%) that the Focus was designed in the UK (if not at least the EU) but that's still down as American.

Although I know Ford is American the cars built for the EU are not American at all so shouldn't be classed as such. Lotus Cortina right through to the current Focus/Mondeo as far as in concerned are UK if not at least EU!

Yeah that's very true and I wonder how many Focus models have been sold in the USA, none I would guess unless imported and the mk1 Focus was built in Dagenham along with the Fiesta until they sold the production line to China in the late 90s, yet the Focus RS is still in the American dealerships,, ridiculous if you ask me.

And PsuPepperoni is right the Sierra was built in Belgium However the Cosworth Sierra was not completely built in Belgium only the body, the running gear and engine was of course fitted by Cosworth in the UK along with vented bonnet, grille, bumpers, spoilers, seats, dash ect.

I think the actual country the car was built in is irrelevant, the Ford cars we see on the streets of the UK and other parts of Europe were built and designed for the European market and like most others they are visually and often mechanically different to US equivalent models.
PD should consider separating Ford US/UK as they have done already with the Australian models. Ford may originally be American but their cars are marketed in different forms for different countries. PD should adapt to follow this as they have done with GM/Vauxhall/Opel/Holden.

Yes well said.

I'm not a big Ford fan, but there are Fords I like (i.e. the '80 Fiesta in my profile pic). However, it occurred to me that I think this is because I'm from America. All of the good Fords hae been from Ford of Europe (including my Fiesta). RS200, Sierra Cosworth, GT40, Capri, just to name a few. I would absolutely love to see the Sierra Cosworth added (and the RS200 premium)! Would be great fun in GT6!

I don't think the UK is getting the new GT500 with the V8 though, only a v6 ecoboost thing. So it's not all bad for you guys over the pond.

Also you get the M5 in manual no?

No option for the latest M5 with manual over here. Atleast I don't think so.

Yes, we are getting the manual M5! I haven't been that into BMW's lately though, I don't know why anyone would want their exhaust sound played through the speakers, haha. Yeah I'm not too huge a Mustang fan, mostly because over here Mustang has become the dream car / car of choice for people who don't know anything about cars. Ford's marketing in general here, it's for people who know nothing about cars, like the Hollywood and gossip magazine types. They have TV commercials of the dumb, know nothing about car people saying how the Ford Fusion is like a race car, which always gives me pause. The EcoBoost deal is a tragedy, and its the same reason why the Mustang II sucked. "Muscle car" and "fuel efficient" are complete contradictions!

Just want to add my support for this beauty. If I could 'like' this x10, I would. 👍 I used to have an XR4x4 (2.8i V6) many years ago and that would be welcome too... man I love that car... RS Cosworth saloon in both variants would also be nice.
