I don't know about you guys but 2 of the fastest cars on GT5 the Bugatti and the X-1 are ugly ugly ugly. I see people driving them online and while yes they are very fast they aren't worth it to me. What about you guys? Rather drive an ugly super fast car or a beautiful fast car? lol
 
If I'm on the inside I really wouldn't worry about what it looks like on the outside so if I'm racing then I'd go for ugly super fast because it'd most likely give a better chance of winning.

Cars are an art form IMO though, some are look fast before they even move, some look aggressive while others are wolves in sheeps clothing.
 
The Bugatti and X2010 are beautiful. The X2010 however isn't the best looking car, but the Bugg is.

The Red Bull is like an Apache Helicopter, it's that 'ugly' that it can seem beautiful. Or at the very least, really cool :sly:
 
There are plenty to choose from. As for the Bugatti, get a car with as much HP or lighter with better steering and you'll look good AND win.

As for the X2010, who cares? I don't race in X2010 rooms :D

But seriously I'd go with function all day. People will shut up real fast when you fly by at triple their speed. Plus if your going fast enough all they'll see is a streak and hear the exhaust.
 
This is an odd question but I would rather drive a "beautiful fast car" over a "ugly super fast car". I try to avoid the trend of super fast boring cars that are way overused such as the Bugatti and X1 but that's beside the point in this thread.
 
yeah, i guess it was an odd question. i just see these bugatti's and x-1's online and they're all souped up and fast but they are ugly as sin. i feel sorry for the people driving them. lol
 
I'd rather get an awesome nice looking car, tune it so that's it's competitive, then trash people in higher rated cars. That's what I do.
 
I'd rather go for a very fast car with graceful looking picking one up among the two options, the cool and the ugly. because it's a virtue for me to astound other competitors with the beautiful outlook of the car as well as its overwhelming performance. The Bugatti Veyron is damn fast on the straights, but looks like a fat roach(or other kind of a winged insect) in my opinion. :indiff:
 
how about everyone not be obsessed with bhp and admire a car for its all around engineering and design, its history, etc.

bhp does not equal wins. Or a great car.

Personally I'd rather bring my TVR V8S to a track day than a freakin Buggatti, which is essentially built so rich people can break a landspeed record and little else.
